California Man Arrested While Attempting to Injure His Ex-wife at Their Son's Football Game
The Garden Grove Police have arrested a man from California after he tried to kill his estranged wife with multiple kitchen knives at their son's football game.
The Garden Grove Police Department arrested a man on May 15 after he tried to kill his wife at their son's football game. A television and radio personality, Gigi Graciette, took to her Twitter page and shed more light on the tragic situation.
According to Graciette, the man has been identified as Russell Husges. In the tweet, the TV personality noted that Husges tried to kill his estranged wife in front of their child.
He showed up at Chapman Sports Complex with several kitchen knives in his possession. Then, he pursued his wife right onto the green area before he was stopped by the coach and a police officer off duty.
The snapshot shared by Graciette alongside her tweet revealed that Husges is white-skinned, quite robust, has a beard, and possesses short black hair.
Although the tweet did not garner enough reactions, the few who were interested in the trending issue expressed their thoughts about the incident in the comments section.
One of the users was thankful for the presence of the off-duty police officer, while another user noted that Husges was crazy and should not be released anytime soon. A third user said the culprit would harm someone if he got out.
The reports further noted that Husges has been charged with attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm.

In an interview with investigators, the man identified as Sean Lannon revealed that his wife, Jennifer Lennon, was having an affair with one of her friends. Sean noted that he shot his ex-wife in the head, put her body inside a container, and placed it in his backyard.
The bodies of her friends were dismembered and put inside the containers. The former couple lived together in New Jersey and moved to New Mexico before the divorce.
