Brandi Glanville Found 'The Fountain of Youth' and Fans Are Worried About the Reaction It Had — Video
The TV personality's latest beauty experiment left her facial skin raw, and her explanation only deepened fans' alarm.
On August 3, 2025, Brandi Glanville, former star of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," posted a TikTok showing what looked like severe burns on the lower half of her face. The 52-year-old described a recent treatment she tried, prompting concern from viewers who questioned her health after a year of stress and medical issues.

In the video, Glanville faced the camera directly, offering a clear view of her face. She wore casual clothing, with her hair pulled back, glasses on, and a pink bow perched on her head.
She began by admitting she doesn't know how to use TikTok and was just "getting back" to her fans, before launching into the reason behind this upload.

"So, good news, you guys don't have to spend a lot of money on peels and lasers anymore because I decided to put Nair on my face," she revealed, referring to the famous hair removal product. "When I have an exfoliated face, it [expletive] the 'Caroline' off; whoever's living in my face."

Glanville then pointed to different areas of her skin, indicating where "Caroline" had supposedly moved. "So, Nair is the fountain of youth," she declared. "I figured it out, but I overdid it. Seven minutes. Don't do it."

In the TikTok's caption, she called it a "beauty hack" but urged her followers and viewers to test it out first because she used it for too long. Additionally, the former reality star explained that she was combining cold aloe vera, cucumber, and black tea in a spray bottle to apply to her face due to the pain.
Naturally, fans responded with concern, confusion, and distress. One wrote, "Who is checking on this women [sic]?" Another added, "This is giving… Amanda Bynes."
Some questioned her well-being, "Are you okay😭😭." Someone added, "I'm hoping this is just a joke and you actually had a laser treatment or an actual chemical peel."
Others expressed alarm, with one saying, "Chemical burn? 😣 I would go to ER," and another writing, "If this isn't screaming for HELP, I don't know what is…" One TikToker pleaded, "You gotta get out of LA girl [sic]. I swear there's so much more out there."
A longer message warned, "I come in peace & with love. NAIR is not meant to be a chemical peel. brandy please dont do anything that's not recommended by a professional doctor. & even then be cautious & get second opinions. this can be so dangerous. I hope you have a speedy recovery [sic]."
Other comments were more emotional. "I have no words but praying for you girl [sic]," one netizen wrote, while another said, "Nair is NOT the fountain of youth! I hope you heal well, because that looks like a terribly, painful, infected burn. 👀" One summed up the general mood by noting, "I think a chemical burn is the least of worries right now."
This alarming TikTok followed more than a year of Brandi Glanville publicly disclosing her personal health struggles. In January 2024, she sat down for an interview with Entertainment Tonight's Brice Sander, revealing that her lips and face had suddenly swollen in August 2023.
"I've had some health issues that have affected my ability to talk," she explained. "My ability to taste food, my face basically would swell up, like I would have anaphylactic shock, go into anaphylactic shock constantly and I saw 7 doctors and their answer to it was it was stress-induced angioedema."
Angioedema is a condition where particular points of the skin swell, often looking like hives. The television personality pointed to her public conflict with Caroline Manzo, which happened after they finished filming "The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip" in Morocco, as the cause of her stress.
Since then, Glanville has documented her health journey and mental condition on social media. In July 2024, she posted a selfie, writing that her condition was the reason she was feeling so down.
In December of that same year, she posted another photo of herself, showing a noticeably thinner face with what appeared to be hives on her skin.
Around a month later, she uploaded a clip of a treatment that caused her to shake, describing the device as an "emphatic [sic] drainage machine." The video, which showed her face, featured her saying she was determined to get "this thing" out of her body.
Additionally, Glanville showcased one of her other beauty therapies this past May on Instagram. "Not the most fun to share, but ever since I opened up about my health issues I've gotten so many messages each day from people dealing with the same. So I'm taking you along with me," she wrote in the post's caption.
She also thanked Chara Health, a clinic specializing in anti-aging procedures, and noted that she was undergoing "Stem Cell Therapy IV" along with the "Fotona 4D laser + Exosome Glow Kit."
