Rich Woman Humiliates Poor Woman in Beauty Salon, Learns a Lesson an Hour Later – Subscriber Story
Mandy went to a salon to get ready for a special evening when a wealthy woman humiliated her because of her poor husband. Within a few minutes, the woman ate her own words.
Mandy wasn't a rich woman, but since it was her wedding anniversary, she decided to have a makeover at one of New York's known salons. Her husband wanted the evening to be special, so he treated her.
While having her hair done, a woman, Georgia, sat beside Mandy and kept talking to the stylist, boasting about her husband's million-dollar deal and the new vacation house they bought.

Georgia had a loud voice that made everyone hear about her wealth as if she did it on purpose. After talking about all her jewelry which will be auctioned off, to make space for new ones, Georgia looked at Mandy and said:
"Why are you silent? Come on now. Tell us something about your husband or what he bought you."
Mandy smiled and said, "Well, my husband's a simple salesman. He doesn't give me many material things, but he shows his love in a different way. I especially like how he still writes me love letters and cooks breakfast for the kids and me every day."

"He also gives me massages when I'm tired, and it really is the sweetest thing," she added. Georgia was indignant as she replied, "What? Are massages really enough? Don't make me laugh, dear. What kind of man can't buy his woman jewelry?" Mandy replied:
"Well, we've been saving our money for our kids' education and our dream house."
Georgia said, "He's a simpleton, not a husband. But I'll say one thing. Only, don't take offense, dear. Only a simpleton woman can have a simpleton husband. A woman must know her price; otherwise, she is not a woman."

Mandy could not believe how the woman talked about her husband, but instead of arguing, she kept quiet. About 15 minutes later, a charming man entered the salon and approached Mandy.
"Hi honey, will you still be needing some time?" he asked. "No dear, literally another ten minutes until I'm done," Mandy replied. The man smiled and informed his wife that he would sit on the sofa while waiting.
Meanwhile, Georgia glanced at the man and looked at him from head to toe. Ten minutes later, Mandy stood up from her chair and went to her husband.

Immediately, he stood up, smiled, and said: "Wow, this new hairstyle suits you. You're like a beauty queen, my darling." Mandy blushed as her husband kissed her forehead and held her tightly.
As they were about to leave the salon, a fat man in a black suit came inside and said in a raised voice, "Georgia, are you kidding me? You're not done yet? Haven't you spent all my money yet?"
Georgia shuddered and replied, "Darling, literally another five minutes, and I will come out looking like a star." The man interrupted her and said, "Yeah, yeah, whatever. I don't care what you look like as long as I sign another deal tonight."

He added, "So get up and let's go. Now!" Georgia lowered her head and looked at Mandy, who held her husband's arm tight. "Yikes," Mandy whispered to her spouse.
At that point, everyone at the salon kept quiet. It became clear who among the two women led happy lives, despite the lack of wealth or expensive gifts received.
