Bullies Make Fun of Their Classmate at Class Reunion - Story of the Day
Two bullies make fun of their classmate and humiliate him in front of the entire crowd at their class reunion. However, when they learn who he actually is, they are taken aback.
Jill and Rita were looking forward to their class reunion. It had been nearly ten years since they had said their final goodbyes to their classmates, and they couldn't wait to see everyone again. But that wasn't the only reason why they were waiting for this moment with bated breath.
Both of them were working in high-paying top corp jobs, and they were eager to learn how everyone else was faring in life. If others weren't doing so well, that would be great because this reunion would then be exactly what they wanted it to be - an opportunity to brag about their accomplishments and look down upon others.
Moreover, the reunion was organized at a new luxury restaurant that had recently opened in town, and everyone was talking about it—the place was well-known, and the proprietor was apparently very handsome. So, both Rita and Jill saw this party as the perfect opportunity to show off their wealth and good looks.

They spent several hours in a parlor before the party to make sure they looked their best and chose the perfect dress that flaunted their figures.
When they finally arrived at the reunion, everyone complimented them on how gorgeous they looked. Both young ladies couldn't stop bragging about how they had spent the entire day hunting for the right dress and how they had sat in the dressing chair for hours just to look perfect.
Then while they were busy making up stories about their so-called dressing-up struggles for the evening, they noticed their favorite classmate, or rather, their favored target for bullying, entering the venue. His name was Patrick Miles. Patrick greeted a few friends as he entered the room and then took a seat in one corner.
When Rita and Jill saw him, they couldn't help but revert to the bullies they were ten years ago. They dashed over to Patrick's table and yelled at the top of their voice, "Everyone! Look who's here! It's Patrick, the prick!"

Everyone turned to look at them, and some of them gave a mocking look to Patrick. But Patrick didn't react. He simply smiled at the ladies and said, "Hi, Jill and Rita. It's been a long time. How are you guys doing?"
Jill burst out laughing. "You want to know how we're doing? Can't you tell how successful we've been in life just by looking at us? The dress I'm wearing is one of the most expensive brands! But it's fine if you don't know about it, Patrick. After all, you've always been that impoverished nerd."
"Well, it's nice to see that you're doing great, Jill," Patrick continued after a little pause. "But life isn't always the same. Thankfully, I have a better life now."
"Oh, really?" Rita interrupted him. "What do you do for a living? Stitch suits at a tailor shop? Is that where you got this suit from?"
Jill started giggling.
Despite the insults, Patrick remained calm, but Rita wasn't ready to stop insulting him. | Photo: Pexels
“Well, guys. I don’t mind working at a tailor shop since I feel there is no such thing as a small or minor job. We should respect everyone who works hard for their families,” Patrick patiently replied. “However, my profession is quite different from what you guys might be expecting.”
Rita smirked. “Oh, yeah, I can guess it easily from the way you’re talking, Patrick. I know it’s quite different. Actually, I’ve always wished for someone like you to work at my house … I hope you clean the toilets properly. That’s what you do for a living, isn’t it?”
At this point, almost everyone at the reunion started laughing at Partick. Some of them who were decent enough tried to stop Rita and Jill, but it was no use. Those ladies were determined to extract all the bullying that hadn’t been done to anyone in the last ten years. Unfortunately, Patrick was once again the target.
Still, Patrick maintained his composure. “Honestly, guys,” he added as he took a step forward, “I don’t care what you guys think about me or my job or even my life. I am happy with what I have, and I don’t care whether you like it or not.”

Jill looked at Patrick furiously. “I think you've forgotten the school days, Patrick. Don’t forget who you’re talking to. We can still make your life a living hell.”
“Well, we’ll see about that...”
Patrick could hardly finish his sentence when Rita intervened. “Actually, Jill, I think we should remind him where he really belongs.” With that, Rita dashed to her table, poured herself a glass of water, and hurled it on Patrick’s face.
Partick stood still. He didn’t utter a word at first, but slowly his patience gave way. “Enough!” he screamed at the top of his lungs, “Just because I’m patient with you doesn’t mean you can treat me like a stray dog!”
“Oh, really? What will you do? Are you going to throw us out? I don’t think you can do that, Patrick the prick. So, calm the hell down!” Rita retorted.

“Well, I can actually do that! Don’t test my patience,” he told Rita and looked straight into her eyes.
Rita took a step forward and began clenching her fist, ready to punch Partick in the face, but the restaurant manager intervened. “What the hell is happening here?" he asked and then turned to Patrick. "Are you okay, Sir?”
“Yes, Mr. Anderson, I’m fine. It just looks like we have some unwanted guests in the restaurant,” Patrick told him while looking at Jill and Rita.
Rita gave a mocking glance to Mr. Anderson. “Is he your regular customer or something? Why are you so courteous to a man who looks like someone supposed to be washing dishes in the kitchen?”
Mr. Anderson gave her a stern look. “Mind your language, ma’am. You’re talking about the owner of this restaurant. Mr. Miles controls the entire restaurant and owns multiple chains overseas!”

Rita and Jill were taken aback. “Wait, what? The owner? So...is he that famous proprietor?” they inquired, perplexed.
“Yes, you heard that right,” Partick replied. “I can’t believe you guys haven’t changed a bit in ten years! Still the same wacky and obnoxious bullies! Anyway, that’s it for now. It’s time to show where you guys really belong.”
With that, Patrick called the security guards and asked them to throw Rita and Jill out of the restaurant. He further warned both the ladies that if they’re seen anywhere around his restaurant again, he won’t hesitate to call the cops and have them arrested on harassment charges.
So, in the end, Jill and Rita left the restaurant, embarrassed.
