Daily Joke: Food Critic Tells Waiter Something Is Missing
One day a food critic visited a restaurant in New York City to review a selection of the restaurant's meals for his very well-known and successful food blog.
The owner welcomed him graciously. Knowing how important the critic's review would be for the restaurant, the owner seated him at the best table in the restaurant and presented him with a menu.

After several minutes of the critic scanning the menu, he made his selection. "I'll have the soup of the day, the roast fillet main, and the strawberry shortcake."
"Excellent choice," responded the owner, who then walked away to place the food critic's order. After 15 minutes, the soup was ready, so the owner walked it over to the critic.
The soup was a roast red pepper and tomato soup with a basil pesto creme served with freshly baked ciabatta bread and locally made butter churned by hand. Delicious!
The owner said, "Bon appetit!" and left the critic to enjoy the soup.

However, after a minute, the critic called the owner over and said, "This soup looks amazing, but something is missing."
The owner responded, "Oh no, what's missing? Does it need more salt? Or pepper? Would you like another slice of bread?"
The food critic then replied, "No, it's not that. How about you taste it and tell me what is missing?"
"Yes, sir," said the owner as he walked closer to the table and tried to reach for the spoon. "Where's the spoon?"
"Exactly!" exclaimed the food critic.
Wow! So was there a fork and knife for the main meal? Another food critic had an equally interesting meal below!

FARM TO TABLE CRITIC
A food critic specialized in locally sourced food and farm-to-table restaurants decided to review a newly established restaurant that raised their own chickens for the meals.
So, of course, he ordered three separate chicken dinners so he could produce an in-depth review. When he ordered he asked the waiter, "So tell me, how are the chickens prepared?"
The waiter replied, "Oh, we don't do anything special. We tell them they are going to die."
The poor chickens! Enjoy these jokes? Why not share the fun with a friend, or if you need another chuckle, check out this joke about a nun who visited a restaurant!
