Lady Gaga is undoubtedly a fan favorite, but recently, a story involving her former dog walker has generated divided opinions amongst her fans. Some fans believe the singer does not owe her former staff a dime, but not everyone shares the same sentiment.

Lady Gaga’s ex-dog walker Ryan Fischer since became a subject of concern to several fans. However, Fischer, who faced a life-threatening situation earlier this year while walking Gaga’s dogs, is now focusing on full recovery.

SHOT WHILE WALKING HER DOGS

In February this year, Fischer was shot by some Hollywood dog thieves while walking Gaga’s French bulldogs Koji and Gustav and Miss Asia. Koji and Gustav were captured, but Miss Asia ran away and was recovered by police.

Later on, the dogs were found unharmed by a woman who was later arrested as part of the crime’s suspect; they were returned to the singer. Sadly, Fischer suffered a gunshot wound and was left fighting for his life in the hospital.

According to reports, Fischer’s one lung collapsed, and he needed to have surgery to ensure his recovery. As a result, the dog walker had a portion of the lung scarred by the bullet wound removed.

Gaga was said to have been left saddened by Fischer’s state and promised to pay his medical bills, which were reported to have cost £70,000. Also, she promised to give the sum of $500,000 to whoever found the dog, but it remains unclear if she fulfilled the promise.

FISCHER CALLS FOR HELP

Still, in the recovery process, Fischer recently revealed that he is two months into a six-month planned sabbatical where he plans to tour through the United States to hasten his recovery as he tries to put the dark months behind him.

Fischer was reported to have left Gaga’s mansion in pursuit of emotional healing, but during his trip, his old van seems to have encountered difficulties, and Fischer set up a GoFundMe page to get funds for his travel expenses.

The celebrity walker did not only ask for financial help; he also requested suggestions for where he could get treatment for traumas as he confessed he was feeling lonely and abandoned during this period.

TWITTER USERS REACT

His message was shared on the official TMZ Twitter page, and it soon sparked a series of opinions between Twitter users.

Some fans blasted Fischer’s former boss, Lady Gaga, for allegedly not being supportive of a staff who almost lost his life for her dogs. In contrast, others were adamant that the singer had no obligations towards Fischer.

One fan asked if Gaga should not be taking care of Fischer’s expenses considering her wealth, but another fan countered his question, noting that Gaga had taken care of his medical bills.

The fan wrote, “Why do y’all want Gaga to open her purse when she literally paid for all his medical expenses and more I’m sorry but she doesn’t owe him a trip.”

Another Twitter user who pitied Fischer wrote, “@ladygaga should be sending him and providing therapy for what he went through. How sad.”

A fourth user asked, “But, but, but what about that $500,000 she gave him??? Oh, wait, that went to the person who returned her dogs. Finally, another user remarked that Fischer needed therapy and not a trip.

As of this writing, more than $3,000 has been raised of the $40,000 goal. Fans will hope Gaga’s former dog walker gets all the help he needs and gets his life back together.
