Man Sparks Debate after Sharing a Photo of His Hotel Room at Checkout
Scottish personality Darren Dowling had the internet divided after he posted a photo of how he leaves his hotel room after checking out.
Every job has a certain set of responsibilities, especially when it's of service to others. Still, customers who make jobs easier are praised for their kindness.
Recently, Scottish online personality Darren Dowling shared how he likes to help hotel cleaning staff in his own simple way.

In his Facebook share, Dowling snapped a photo of his hotel bed all tidy with the bed and pillowcases removed and separated from the dirty sheets.
The sheets were neatly folded and placed at the tip of the bed for collection. Dowling captioned his now-viral post:
“I always try and leave a hotel room like this. Is this the right or wrong thing to do?”
Doing such a small thing before leaving the room is a great help for the housekeeping staff as it saves time and effort for them to clean several rooms in a short time.
Robertson faced many parents who questioned his parenting, but said that his son would likely grow up to be an adult who swears anyway.
However, Dowling’s post was met with diverse reactions from people who debated whether cleaning up was the right thing to do.

Many social media users pointed out that it is a housekeeper’s job to clean the room and that they get paid for it. One comment addressed to a housekeeper read:
“You are paid to clean why should I or anyone clean up the room Ur paid to clean [sic]?”
Meanwhile, several current and former housekeepers shared their sentiments and claimed they appreciate such gestures from hotel guests.

“Having worked in housekeeping in a hotel, you have no idea how much things like this are appreciated. As you have time targets to hit per room, and this is a massive help,” one comment read.
A former housekeeper shared that the job is difficult, and often, they don’t get the gratitude they deserve. Sometimes, housekeeping staff also experience rude customers and are looked down upon.
Recently, another social media post caused a stir on social media after a dad shared his unusual parenting approach.
