Ben Affleck Sparks Engagement Rumors with Jennifer Lopez 15 Years after His 1st Proposal

Singer Jennifer Lopez once revealed that parting ways with actor Ben Affleck shred her heart into pieces as the duo were preparing to walk down the aisle and only called things off a few days to their wedding.

Both stars since moved on from their romance and had different lives and families, but it was clear that they harbored a special spot in their hearts for each other, and when the chance came, they wasted no time in reviving old flames.

Shortly after her five-year romance with NBA star and businessman Alex Rodriguez’s romance dwindled, Lopez fell back into familiar hands and got back with her old flame, Affleck.

Things seem to be getting serious, and it looks like they are set on going back in time to complete their unfinished business. 15 years after his first proposal, Affleck looks like he is planning another.

The actor was spotted with his mom haunting engagement rings at Tiffany, and he seemed pretty serious with business. His son, Samuel, accompanied him as his eyes browsed through the glamorous store, looking for the right trophy to possibly present his girl.

Speaking on their first engagement, a smiling Lopez noted that the proposal was traditional but also sweet.

His 2002 engagement ring to Lopez, a 6.1-carat pink diamond by Harry Winston, reportedly cost a whopping $2.5 million. At the time, their romance was probably the biggest thing in Hollywood, earning them the name “Bennifer.”

That was a long time ago and from Aflleck’s face, he seemed determined to get it right this time. Following his new move, some fans had taken to Twitter to share their opinion over his appearance at the famous jewelry store.

One fan wrote, “I honestly feel he was looking for a ring. I don’t think it was staged.” A second fan tweeted, “Sounds like he really wants to make it official with JLo. I’m really excited for them.”

Affleck and Lopez met while filming the gangster movie “Gigli,” and both stars clicked, and soon their romance became the talk of the town. At the time, the lovebirds were inseparable.

Speaking on their first engagement, a smiling Lopez noted that the proposal was traditional but also sweet. The ring was a pink diamond on a platinum band.

The 52-year-old then described Affleck as a brilliantly smart, loving, charming, affectionate person who was almost like a teacher to her. Of course, the world was shocked when both stars decided on splitting.
