Mother Fights Lion Who Attacked Her 5-Year-Old Son with Her Bare Hands
When her 5-year-old was knocking at death's door while viciously being attacked by a dangerous beast, a mother wasted no time. She was ready to wrestle the big cat and save her son, even if it meant risking her own life.
When a mountain lion ambushed a mom's 5-year-old son, her motherly instinct kicked in. In a heroic act, the combative parent took on the 65-lb wild animal, completely bare-handed.
A spokesman with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, Captian Patrick Foy, reported that the animal had pulled the boy at around 45 yards in the family's front lawn.

The mother, who has remained anonymous, heard a racket outside while in the house. Once she caught sight of what was happening to her 5-year-old, she sprinted towards her son and the mountain lion.
Adie Timmermans claims that she had an "affair" with a zoo chimpanzee, Chita.
The mom then punched the mountain lion in its face. She wrestled with the animal, proceeding to wrench it away from her child.

Her son was promptly taken to the hospital by his parents and, although he has suffered significant injuries, is in steady condition. His survival is all thanks to his mother, with the Captain expressing:
“The true hero of this story is his mom because she absolutely saved her son’s life.”
The mountain lion was killed via gunfire by a wildlife officer. The local wildlife department claimed this was to protect residents from possible future attacks.
Like this mother, sometimes human-animal relationships can be aggressive, sometimes they can be warm and loving, and in other cases, they can be downright eccentric. Adie Timmermans claims that she had an "affair" with a zoo chimpanzee, Chita.
Timmermans has been banned from entering the Antwerp zoo. The officials have stated that her relationship with the animal could affect the chimpanzee's ability to socialize with others of its kind.
Chita has spent the majority of his life surrounded by human beings rather than other chimps. He spent almost the first decade of his life as a pet before his owners gave him up after finding him too challenging to look after.
Other chimps have less respect for those who socialize with humans, isolating Chita; This is especially since Timmerman had been visiting the animal every week for four years. In both cases, from lion to chimp, the animals ended up suffering the most.
