Fans React to Kim Kardashian’s All-Black Full Coverage Met Gala Dress
Kim Kardashian's full coverage all-black Balenciaga ensemble, which she wore to the 2021 Met Gala, has sparked many conversations online as many fans reacted to the dramatic look.
"Keeping up with the Kardashians" star Kim Kardashian wowed fans with her dramatic full-coverage black Balenciaga dress that she wore to the Metropolitan Museum of Art's 2021 Met Gala in New York on Monday.
The interesting look featured a black T-shirt, built-in heel leggings, and a long train. Kardashian also sported a long black ponytail and a full-coverage face mask that caused her to be completely covered from head to toe.

Fans reacted to the head-turning look on Twitter, with many users poking fun at the reality star and comparing her to characters from movies, including Batman and dementors from "Harry Potter."
One Twitter user, who has now received over 22 thousand likes for their tweet, shared a side by side of Kardashian's Met Gala look with dementors from Harry Potter. The tweet read:
"spot the difference Kim Kardashian x Dementor #MetGala #MetGala2021"

Another Twitter user edited the photo of Kardashian and created their own poster for the horror TV series "American Horror Story," created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk.
Another made Kardashian and her dramatic look into a poster for Batman. The SKIMS founder definitely looked like her own more curvy and womanly version of the masked superhero.
While some users compared the KKW Beauty founder to movie characters, many users online pulled fun at the stark contrast between Kardashian's look and her younger sister Kendall Jenner's look.
Jenner wore a sheer rhinestone-embellished Givenchy gown which was a completely different look to that of her older sister. Of course, fans were quick to make jokes about the gowns. One user admitted:
"Thought Kim was Kendall’s shadow for a minute #MetGala"
Although many users online used Kardashian's fashion statement to have a little fun, Vogue shared an interesting take on the Balenciaga haute couture gown.
The outlet explained that the look gave Kardashian something that she does not have, which was anonymity. The blacked-out outfit and face cover completely hid her famous features.
Of course, her anonymity did not last long as viewers quickly figured out who was under the mask. Kardashian was accompanied by her also fully-covered date, Balenciaga's creative director, Demna Gvasalia.
This is not the first time the TV personality has worn full-coverage looks in recent weeks. As seen above, Kardashian recently shared a photo of herself in a head-to-toe leather look with a matching face mask.
