The #FreeBritney movement has been underway for several years now, and it has finally paid off with Britney Spears being freed of her conservatorship after being under her father’s watchful eye for 13 years.

However, with all the attention on Spears, Amanda Bynes didn’t get much attention until now. Fans are now beginning to look into Bynes’ conservatorship which has recently been extended to 2023.

The #FreeBritney movement has been around for several years now, with worried fans watching Spears’ every move on social media and even asking the star to give them clues as to whether or not she was safe.

While the movement brought copious attention to Spears’ life under a conservatorship, it also brought about the change that every fan was hopeful for. By the end of the year, Spears should once again be living without a conservator.

However, Amanda Bynes is another star who was put under a conservatorship a couple of years ago because she was deemed unfit to make decisions about her own life and finances in the same way that Spears was.

The #FreeBritney movement was successful because the more attention drawn to Spears’ case, the more pressure those around her were under to reassess the conservatorship and give Spears control of her own life once again.

Now that Spears is set to live a normal life, fans are turning their attention to Bynes in hopes that they can free this star, too.

Supporters of the #FreeBritney movement gathered outside the LA courthouse on October 1 to celebrate the fact that Jamie Spears, Britney’s father, had been removed as her conservator and that she would probably not be living under a conservatorship by year’s end.

However, while the crowd was standing outside of the courthouse to show their support to Spears, they made some revelations that said they would now be working towards lifting Bynes’ conservatorship.

Bynes was placed under conservatorship after being diagnosed with bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, which led her to do things she would never have done. At the time that she was placed under the conservatorship, she required serious help.

However, as the years have gone on and Bynes has received the necessary attention to help her manage her mental health issues, she is doing much better. Fans now believe she no longer needs to be under a conservatorship.

Fans have also said that while they will be using their #FreeBritney energy to #FreeAmandaBynes, they will also be educating the general public on the intricacies of conservatorships to promote better understanding.
