Sofia Pernas Reveals She and Justin Hartley Are Not Thinking about Starting a Family Yet

Justin Hartley’s wife, Sofia Pernas, has revealed the reasons she finds it too early to tell whether or not they will be expanding their family in the future. The pair spoke to Hollywood Life at the annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in LA.

Sofia Pernas and Justin Hartley have shared how they felt about their “backward” romance after getting into a relationship during the pandemic and not being able to go on their first date until after a year.

However, the couple has not spoken out about when they will be starting a family until their recent chat with Hollywood Life.

Pernas and Hartley began their romance during the COVID-19 pandemic, and because of this, their relationship took on a different dynamic than a new relationship normally would.

After a year of dating but not being able to go on an actual date because of the pandemic, the couple tied the knot in May of this year. The wedding was held in secret, and the couple only announced their marriage long after the wedding.

They both said that starting their relationship during the pandemic was the foundation of their happiness in their marriage because they got to know one another without any other distractions.

While Pernas said that spending so much time with Hartley without distractions truly allowed her to “see” him, Hartley said that living with Pernas during the pandemic was like “hanging out with his best friend.”

The couple has said they fell in love first before spending time doing the things that couples enjoy doing in conventional relationships.

FAMILY EXPANSION

One of the things that Pernas and Hartley got to do together when the world opened up again was attending the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic event where they were interviewed by Hollywood Life about whether or not they were planning on having children.

While Hartley did not comment, Pernas revealed they believe it's too early to know if they would be starting a family as they have only just married and are simply enjoying being a couple.

Pernas also said they enjoy the little things, such as going on vacation together after being confined to the house for over a year, and they weren’t thinking about anything more than having fun.

Hartley was then asked for updates on NBC’s “This Is Us,” but he did not reveal any details about what would be coming for the show in the sixth and final season. He did reveal that he thought everyone would be “satisfied” with the ending.
