Donny Osmond Shares 5 Kids With His 'Eternal Companion' Wife Debbie - Meet All His Adult 'Amazing' Sons
Donny Osmond has spent more than five decades in the spotlight since his teenage days, but the best part of the singer's life is with his wife of over four decades, with whom he shares five kids.
Donny Osmond's life changed several decades ago when he met Debbie Osmond. The couple met in the mid-70s when Donny was already a household name with his series of hit songs.
The "Puppy Love" crooner gushed over his longtime wife on a Facebook post he shared to mark their anniversary. Donny revealed that he was only 16-years-old when they met, and Debbie was 15.

Although Debbie would go on to spend decades with Donny, he was not the first Osmond she dated. Donny revealed in his post that Debbie had dated his brother before falling in love with him.
But, winning her heart was no cheap feat. Donny confessed that it took him a long time to win Debbie over before he asked her to marry him. He shared on the post,
"It took me 3 whole years to win her heart and convince her to marry me. We were married in the Salt Lake LDS temple on May 8, 1978. We've shared a wonderful life together."

As a teenage star, Donny was widely loved by his fans, and his love life was an area of interest to his faithful followers. But the singer wanted to preserve his privacy, so he kept his romance with Debbie private.
Word soon got out that the teenage singer had gotten married to his heartthrob, leaving countless fans disappointed. Donny recalled fans burning his records and sending threatening letters to Debbie.
Although this was heartbreaking for the young singer, he believed he made the right decision. Donny entered the music scene as a member of a band alongside his brothers before going solo.
Donny found himself in a wilderness after going solo; most of his fans had grown up and abandoned his style of music. However, the child prodigy relied on his strong ties with his wife. Here are more details about their marriage and family.
DEBBIE AND DONNY'S YOUNG LOVE
Debbie and Donny walked down the aisle in 1978 with several doubts about the singer's career. Donny's decision to wed during the formative years of his career was seen as a poor choice.
Speaking to the Guardian, Donny revealed that his father was skeptical about his marriage and kicked against it. He said,
"By the time I was 19, I knew I was in love and had to do something right for me. When I told my dad, he said: "Well, there goes your career, but this is ushering in your personal life."

Despite the decline of his career, Donny claimed he would not have had it any other way; marrying Debbie was the biggest decision of his life. He said,
"If I hadn't married her, I'd have been a mess. Now I had someone who understood me and with whom I could build a future together."
The world-famous singer did not wait too long to become a father. A year after their marriage, Donny and Debbie welcomed their first child Donald, and soon, the whole family was filled with little Osmonds.

The singer and his wife expanded their clan in 1981 with the birth of their son Jeremy. They became parents for the third time in 1985, following the arrival of their son Brandon. Donny welcomed his fourth child, Christopher, in 1990.
The couple completed their family eight years later with the birth of Josh in 1998. Family is a big deal for the "I'll Make a Man out of You" singer. Donny's social media posts frequently feature his father, and without doubt, fans can tell that the 64-year-old is a proud dad of five.
One of his Facebook posts mirrored his heart towards his happy home. The former teen idol gushed about his love and admiration for his family alongside a picture of his large brood.

The singer gushed on the post, "This is my family. They mean the world to me. My relationship with them means more than any money, award, gold record, trophy, or accolade."
Donny said he and Debbie decided to raise their kids out of the spotlight and give them a healthy childhood. Donny's kids are all grown up, and some have started their own families.
The former "Dancing With the Stars" contestant credits his wife, Debbie, for giving him such a large and happy home.
Having spent more than four decades together, Donny has undoubtedly learned a thing or two about making marriage work, and during a live Q&A with his fans, the singer shared what he thought is the key to a good marriage.
Donny advised his fans to focus on making their spouses happy rather than hoping to find someone who'd thrill them. According to the former child prodigy, selflessness keeps a union stronger and longer.
MEET DONNY'S LARGE BROOD
Donny's eldest son, Donald Clark Osmond Jr., works at a public relations firm and shares a close relationship with his dad. Donald also has a thriving family life. He wedded his heartthrob Jessica Nelson Osmond in 2010, and they share four kids.
Donny took to his Instagram to share the news of Donald's fourth baby, adding that he was thrilled to meet the little one. The baby arrived in late December 2020.
40-year-old Jeremy James Osmond, Donny's second son, works as a physical therapist. Like his brother, Donald, Jeremy is a family man who tied the knot with his wife Melisa in 2002.
The couple share three children, Dylan, Ryder, and daughter Emery. Jeremy often flaunts his happy family via his Instagram posts showing them on vacations and other family trips.
In 2012, Jeremy's reputation suffered greatly after being arrested for a gun charge, although he maintained his innocence. The incident was said to have greatly angered his famous dad.
Brandon Osmond, 37, took after his dad and pursued a career in music. According to his website, the younger Osmond and his wife, Shelby, formed a singing pair.
Brandon enjoys several hobbies aside from music. He also works as a photographer and is a big fan of art. But, the best part of his life is away from his career. Brandon is a father of four boys, Daxton, Tayte, Benson, and Peder.
Christopher Glenn Osmond is Donny's fourth son, and from his social media pages, Christopher seems to enjoy photography. The 31-year-old is also a committed husband to his wife, Alta, whom he married in 2017.
The couple became parents for the first time in 2020 following the birth of their daughter, Aussie. The toddler's arrival sparked a wave of excitement in the Osmond clan, with patriarch Donny sharing a touching tribute to his granddaughter.
Christopher also tried his hand at music, hoping to follow in his father's steps, and released his song, "Dreamer," which drew praise from his legendary father.
Donny's youngest son, Joshua Davis, 24, followed a religious path and moved to Italy to serve as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Donny was thrilled by his son's achievement when they reunited a few years later.
Joshua, like his older brothers, is a married man. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, he tied the knot with his longtime sweetheart, Summer Felsted. The couple recently announced that they are expecting their first child in September this year.
