But apart from all of these, she is a family-oriented woman who yearned to be a mother and have kids with the perfect man.

However, when she became pregnant in 1993, Milano aborted it—twice. It was not until more than a decade later that the actress was ready to begin a family.

Thankfully, when she met her prince charming, David Bugliari, a talent manager in LA and husband number two, he was as ready as she was. The pair married in 2009 and began plans to expand their family.

Unfortunately, things did not go as planned. She got pregnant after the first attempt but miscarried the baby. 38-year-old Milano was devastated; she could not comprehend her loss and blamed her past two abortions, believing it was karma.

Despite the credibility of her choices, when she lost her pregnancy, the "Who's the Boss?" star grieved the loss. Thankfully, Bugliari was right by her side, consoling her with his kind words.

The talent manager did not judge her; instead, he promised that they would try again, joking that they would have a "better baby" next time.

In her 2021 book "Sorry Not Sorry," Milano detailed how she felt even more confident and was determined to become a mother again. As promised by her husband, they tried again, and three months later, she became pregnant.

Milano was and is still a great friend to her "Pathology" fiance, Ventimiglia, and she has honored him with such a sweet gesture. Once the "Charmed" star welcomed her first child, a son, she named him Milo, after her buddy and former co-star.

This was because Ventimiglia encouraged her to date her current husband, who worked for Milano's agency. Bugliari was first friends with the "Pathology" actor, but shortly after meeting Milano, they became close and eventually married.

According to the "Who's the Boss" star, her co-star supported her in finding love, and the best gift to him was to name her son, whom she thought looked like a "Milo" after him.

When asked if she sensed that her onscreen fiance had a crush on her, she admitted to being oblivious, adding that he had peculiar qualities. Milano said: "I had no idea. Milo Ventimiglia is such a good, smart dude." She however added:

"He just looked like a Milo to me."

Ventimiglia knew that he shared an adorable bond with his co-star and the talent agent, but he did not expect to share the same name with their firstborn.

In an honest interview with Steve Harvie, the actor shared his views on the issue. Ventimiglia explained that Milano became his close pal following their appearance on "Pathology," which was when she also met Bugliari.

He would introduce his two friends and never understood why they were often excited to see each other. But one day, while discussing a future scene in their feature, Milano confessed her feelings for the talent agent.

Ventimiglia maintained that he edged her on, and within a blink, they became engaged, married, and were expecting their first kid.

Again, the actress dropped an unexpected announcement when he visited the pair. She informed him of her decision to name their first son after him, and according to Ventimiglia, it was because he was the first person she shared her feelings with.

To date, the trio remains close friends. Ventimiglia also has a connection with his namesake. On the other hand, Milano is a great mother to two kids, her son, Milo, and daughter Elizabeth, and she is in a solid marriage with her husband of more than ten years.
