An insider has revealed that Lauryn "Pumpkin'" Efird, Mama June's daughter, is upset with Mama June because the reality TV star has not been helping her daughter, who recently gave birth to twins.

The insider claims that Mama June only visited her daughter and the twins, a boy, and a girl, in the hospital and has not seen them since returning home.

Pumpkin is not the only one upset with her mother, as her husband is also upset with his mother-in-law. According to the source, Mama June has plans to visit her daughter and four grandkids shortly. On her Facebook page, Pumpkin said:

"Just putting this out into the air but it’s literally up to NO ONE but YOU to make sure you have a relationship with your grandkids, niece, nephew- etc. And if you don’t, you got no one to blame but you."

She further stated that it was not up to a parent to ensure that a grandparent had a relationship with their grandkids because the parent is too busy raising their children.

WHAT HAPPENED BETWEEN HONEY BOO BOO AND MAMA JUNE?

In May 2019, Honey Boo Boo moved in with her older sister Pumpkin. She told her mother that she would move out if her mother did not get sober and ditch her crime-ridden boyfriend, Eugene "Geno" Doak.

When Mama June continued staying with Geno, Pumpkin became Honey Boo Boo's legal guardian. From then on, their relationship became strained, and Mama June was estranged from her daughters until she revealed that she had broken up with Geno on August 16, 2021.

Before Mama June broke up with Geno, the family staged an intervention for her on May 31, 2019, and at the intervention, Honey Boo Boo spoke out about her mother's drug addiction and arrest. She said:

"Do you not understand that I am staying with my sister, and that's not by choice!"

Honey Boo Boo sobbed as she explained that moving in with Pumpkin was "not by choice." Pumpkin defended her, stating that the fallout was "not by choice" and that Honey Boo Boo "did not feel safe in the house."

Pumpkin also discussed her hardships as a mother and caring for her sister. She said it was challenging to take care of Honey Boo Boo while caring for her daughter, Ella. Pumpkin said she felt like she was drowning.

According to a custody order issued in April 2022, Mama June, who first revealed in December 2020 that she had been sober for almost a year, officially lost full custody of Honey Boo Boo.

The custody order also stated that Mama June would pay Pumpkin, the legal guardian, $800 per month in child support until Honey Boo Boo turns 18 in August 2023.
