About a month after Jason Momoa announced his split from his longtime partner, Lisa Bonet, the actor reportedly started dating a new partner. However, things appear to have gone sour as the duo has broken up. Continue reading to find out what happened.

Hollywood stars Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet were one of the fans' favorites during their time as a couple. The former couple's romance was like a novel, and for most of their relationship, Momoa described Bonet as his dream woman.

It was not surprising to the public as Bonet had always been on the actor's mind since he was a child. Momoa first saw the actress on TV in the 1980s when she starred as Denise Huxtable on "The Cosby Show," It was love at first sight.

The actor recalled the unforgettable moment during a 2017 episode of "The Late Late Show." He explained to the show's host, James Corden, thus:

"Ever since I was like eight years old and I saw her on TV, I was like, 'Mommy, I want that one.' I'm like, 'I'm going to stalk you for the rest of my life, and I'm going to get you.'"

After many years of possible stalking, Momoa and Bonet finally crossed paths in 2004. They met through mutual friends at a Jazz club in Los Angeles, and according to Momoa, they just happened to be at the right place at the right time.

The actor, who had sported dreadlocks to impress Bonet, recalled feeling ecstatic about their meeting. Momoa said he was short of words and felt like fireworks went off inside him.

Later on, the actor asked Bonet for a ride home, and on the way, they stopped at a café for Guinness and grits. The actress told Porter Magazine in 2018 that it was at that moment she fell in love with Momoa. Unlike other men, the actor did not run away, which captivated Bonet's heart.

Despite Bonet being 12 years older, the former lovebirds' 2004 encounter saw the start of a romance that would last for almost two decades. Here are more details about Momoa and Bonet's long relationship and how it ended.

Momoa possessed everything Bonet needed in a man, making the latter fall deeper in love with the actor as their romance blossomed.

Out of everything, Momoa's approach to love and family was unmatched, and it made the actress think of her man as an alpha male. Bonet had dealt with an absent father, and having Momoa fill that void was incredible.

"Jason embodies a rare form of masculinity in this day and age — he's a leader, he's generous. Just in terms of charisma, physique, the right use of power, responsibility, work ethic, you can go down the line," Bonet once said of the actor.

The pair's bond and love for each other got more profound by the day. After dating for 12 years, Momoa and Bonet finally exchanged wedding vows in October 2017 in a low-key ceremony at their house in Topanga, California.

The wedding took place a few years after the ex-couple welcomed their two children. Momoa and Bonet welcomed their first child, Lola Iolani, on July 23, 2007, while their second child and son, Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha, arrived on December 15, 2008.

Besides Lola and Nakoa-Wolf, Bonet is also a mother to Zoë Kravitz, whom she shares with her first husband, Lenny Kravitz. Together, they all made a beautiful blended family and had a healthy relationship.

Bonet and her ex-husband were still very close, Momoa and Lenny got along well, and Lenny was close to Nakoa-Wolf and Lola.

Zoë noted that having a blended family was "really beautiful." Everyone came together for Thanksgiving as one happy family, which was fantastic.

After staying together for almost 17 years, Momoa and Bonet's relationship crumbled. The pair shocked the world when they announced their split in January 2022.

According to a source, the former couple's decision to part ways did not happen overnight. The source mentioned to People that Momoa and Bonet had grown apart because of different focuses.

While Momoa had a booming career and always wanted to work, Bonet loved her life in Los Angeles and could not be with her husband during every trip. With time, the distance gravely affected their relationship, eventually leading to their split.

Shortly after Momoa and Bonet's big announcement, rumors had it that the duo had reconciled. However, in March 2022, while speaking to Access Hollywood on the Oscars Red Carpet, the actor debunked the speculations. Momoa noted that he and Bonet were not getting back together, but they would remain family forever.

Momoa's split from his longtime partner is not the only thing that has put the actor in the news in recent times. The "Aquaman" star's short-lived relationship with ten years younger actress Eiza González has left his name on many's lips.

A source revealed to People that the duo met through work and mutual friends and started dating in February 2022. However, the source also said the romance was not very serious, adding that Momoa and González took it a step at a time.

Since the duo has recently become a topic of discussion, many have wondered who González is. González is an actress and singer, born on January 30, 1990, in Mexico City, Mexico.

The actress sprung into fame when she appeared in the show "Lola, érase Una Vez" between 2007 and 2008. From 2010 to 2011, she also played the role of Clara Molina in the Nickelodeon teen drama "Sueña Conmigo."

In June 2022, after reportedly dating for a few months, a source confirmed to People that Momoa and González had broken up. According to the insider, the duo is very different individuals.

Another source made it known that Momoa and González are "hoping they might work it out" as they are head over heels in love with each other. With everything going on in Momoa's love life, fans only hope that the actor will find peace.
