It's natural to see parents go the extra mile to protect their children from harm's way, but watching kids do the same for their folks is extraordinary. Parents never teach their kids to risk their lives, but their little ones are sometimes ready to do the unimaginable.

The heroes of today's story are six-year-old twin girls who made it to the news by standing in the way of their mother's attacker. Despite their mom asking them to hide in the bathroom, the little girls did not leave their positions.

The Mother-Of-Two

Misheara Hill lived with her six-year-old twin girls in her Melbourne, Florida, apartment. The mom and her girls lived peacefully until Hill's boyfriend, Andrew Williams Jr., attacked her inside her Manatee Cove Apartment on September 13, 2022.

Williams lost his temper and attacked Hill when she prohibited him from drinking in her house. His raised voice grabbed the twins' attention, and what they did next was unbelievable.

Without feeling threatened by Williams' strength, the little girls emerged from their room, holding sticks, toys, and a hairdryer to protect their mother. The girls looked him in the eye, warning him to stay away from Hill.

The Fearless Girls

The twins' efforts to protect their mother gave Hill time to run and hide in the bathroom. She begged her girls to step back and join her, but they didn't stop. Hill's twins kept beating Williams with their little weapons until he gave up.

Police officers located Williams soon after he left the apartment and arrested him.

Hill heaved a sigh of relief as soon as her violent boyfriend left the house. She immediately came out of the bathroom and thanked her girls for saving her. Then, she picked up her phone and dialed 911.

Catching the Suspect

After Hill told the police that her boyfriend had attacked her in her house, they began searching for him in the neighborhood. The Florida police hailed the twin girls as "little heroes" after learning how they stepped forward to guard their mother. Meanwhile, one of the twins said:

"We would die for mommy."

Police officers located Williams soon after he left the apartment and arrested him. Upon searching his belongings, they found drugs and filed charges against him for assault and possession of drugs.

An Unusual Incident

The extraordinary incident attracted news and digital media outlets to cover Hill's story. They also interviewed the neighbors, who were as surprised as Hill after learning what the twins did. Hill's neighbor, Carrie Jacobs, said:

"They protected their mom. It's a good thing they did that because their mom is still here today."

Jacobs added that Hill was a "good mom" and said that if something had happened to Hill, no one would have cared for the twins as their mom did. Jacobs was glad the girls protected Hill from Williams.

Williams was released on bond a few days after being arrested, but the police still had their eyes on him. They monitored him through a tracking device until his next court hearing on October 7, 2022.
