Tim Tebow's Mom Trusted God & Birthed Him While Ignoring Advice to Abort — Thankful Son Bought $3M House for Family
The world would not know Tim Tebow if his mom had taken the doctor's advice to get an abortion. The delivery was painful, but it ended well with "the help of God," and now Tim, who knows what could have gone wrong, cares for his mom like no other.
Timothy Richard Tebow entered this world on August 14, 1987, in Makati, Philippines, to missionary parents named Bob and Pam Tebow. A former professional football player, Tim has many talents, as he also excels at writing, public speaking, and sports broadcasting.
Tim is a 3x NY Times best-selling author, international speaker, ESPN sports broadcaster, and 2x BCS National Champion. During his time in the NFL, the talented man played for the Denver Broncos, the New York Jets, the New England Patriots, and the Philadelphia Eagles.

These days, he plays baseball with the New York Mets MLB team as an outfielder. Tim has touched many lives by being who he is, and they have one woman to thank for that; Tim's mother, Pam.
Pam had to make a difficult decision while he was still in her womb, and her doctor advised her to get rid of the child. Her life had been in danger, and the doctor was only trying to save her patient.
According to Pam, the doctor told her she would die if she went through with it and called unborn Tim a "mass of fetal tissue" to get Pam to listen to reason. At the time of the pregnancy, she and her husband were serving as missionaries in a remote village located in the Philippines.
The doctor was the best in the area and was recommended by another missionary friend who had received treatment from her before, so his word was practically law, but Pam refused.
He did not care that it was dark, so he needed a torch, and he did not mind that rain had been beating down on him.
It was a difficult time for Pam. Her nights were filled with pain, and the days were offered no reprieve. It was a miracle she and the baby survived.
Pam refused to abort the baby but not because she was banking on luck; the missionary woman chose to put her trust in God and urged others to do so. She said:
"You can trust the Lord for your life, and God is a pro-life God. He loves life. He created life. We don't understand it all, but we will trust Him."
Painful Birth With a Help Of God
Pam remained steadfast in her faith through the pain. According to her, her faith in the God she served helped her make the right decision. She said the decision had to be made even though she and her husband knew there could be a sacrifice. Pam tagged it the only choice they could make, and then they “let God be God.”
When the baby was finally delivered, the doctor called it the "biggest miracle he had ever been a part of" because he had never experienced survival from such drastic odds.
It left him baffled because the baby was born with only a tiny piece of placenta attached, meaning he received minimal nutrition, and the doctor had no explanation for how baby Tim survived in the womb for months with it.

Tim became the largest among all the kids Pam had and is also the most recognized. Tim has spoken about the whole affair numerous times in public, and his gratitude to his mom is always very noticeable each time he tells the story. He once said:
"She decided she was gonna (sic) trust God even when the doctors said it might cost her life. I'm so grateful my mom gave me a chance at life."
Inside a Mansion for the Whole Family
Everyone who knows Tim knows how much he adores his mother. The multitalented man has been very vocal about how she is the greatest mother in the world.

Before he achieved fame, Tim did all he could to please his mother, including offering her presents on Mother's day. In a past interview, Tim recalled one year, he could not afford to get his mom a gift, so the night before the big day, he decided to help her weed out her flower garden.
He did not care that it was dark, so he needed a torch, and he did not mind that rain had been beating down on him. All he wanted was to see his mom happy, which she was. Speaking about the kind gesture, Pam said: “It was the sweetest thing."

His love for her never wavered as the years passed, and when he got his first payout as a member of the Denver Bronchos, his family was the first to get gifts from him. He said:
"The first gift I got was for mom. ... I went to Tiffany's. I was so excited. And so I went in to find something I think would be right for mom."
That thing turned out to be a necklace attached to a pendant shaped like a key which he thought was fitting because she was the key to his success.
Tim is now a full-grown man who takes religion very seriously. Like his mother, he is known to encourage those around him to put their trust in God, whom he believes has a special plan for everyone.
Tim is currently married to 2017 Miss Universe winner Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters. Not long ago, the Former NFL quarterback bought his second property in Jacksonville, Florida.
The house, a two-story, nearly 8,300-square-foot property, cost him $2.99 million and is his second home within the exclusive community of Glen Kernan Golf & Country Club in South Jacksonville, with the first home costing $1.4 million.
The new home was built in 2016 and sits on 1.49 acres. It has five bedrooms with five and a half bathrooms, a large wine room, an entertainment room, a saltwater pool, and a garage large enough for five cars.
