Bad Bunny Was 'Always Loving' with His Parents & They Listen to the Radio Waiting for His Song
Puerto Rican singer and rapper Bad Bunny has a special bond with his parents, who have supported him throughout his career. Bad Bunny's parents are his number-one fans; whenever he releases a song, they always tune in to the radio to listen to his music.
Most of Bunny's success comes from the support he gets from his family; recently, the 28-year-old emerged as the top artist in both the Billboard Global 200 Artists and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts.
Having supportive parents is something that every child needs, and when it comes to Bunny's music career, his parents have always been his strongest pillar. In an interview, Bunny said that he usually involves his parents when creating music.

He gave an example of a music video he worked on that he sent to his mother on WhatsApp. His mother was happy with his son's milestone and cried joyfully. Bunny, whose music is defined as Reggaeton and Latin trap, said his parents love listening to his songs:
"My mami and papi love my music. They’re always listening to the radio waiting for one of my songs to come on. And when it does, they turn up the volume — and turn it back down when it’s over."
Bad Bunny's Parents Worked 'To Maintain'
Bunny was born on March 10, 1994, in Puerto Rico, and his full birth name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio. Besides their superstar son, Bad Bunny's parents have two younger sons, Bernie Martinez Ocasio and Bysael Martinez Ocasio.
Bunny's mom, a staunch catholic, always wanted to raise his son in the lord's ways.
Bunny, brought up in Puerto Rico, was a laid back funny kid; the rapper said he was shy, but at the same time, he loved being a clown. Despite having an introverted personality, Bunny was always loving with his parents.

When growing up, Bunny liked to spend most of his time in his room drawing or playing with his imagination. Once, he pretended to be a Norwegian Viking making different characters' voices— his mother thought he was talking to himself.
Bad Bunny's parents spotted their son's talent at a tender age when he used to sing in a church choir. Also, he participated in a rap contest talent show in middle school.
As a kid, Bunny listened to a lot of salsa music that his parents used to play but would secretly listen to reggaeton because his mother had forbidden it. Vico C was the only artist he could listen to because his mother assumed his songs were clean since they played on the radio.
Even though Bunny is now a global star, he grew up with his parents in the countryside in a small town, west of San Juan. He came from a stable lower-middle-class family; his father was a truck driver, and his mother was a school teacher.
Bunny is very close to his family and shares important events in his adult life with them. For instance, he was spotted dining with his father and brother when he met his girlfriend, Gabriela Berlingeri.
Bad Bunny's Mom Is Not Happy with the Lyrics of His Song
Bunny's mom, a staunch catholic, always wanted to raise his son in the lord's ways. The rapper said that he began attending church at a young age and participated in the children's church choir, but he quit when he was 13.
According to him, his spiritual practice was to stay up until dawn making beats on his computer and improvising freestyles for his friends at school.
As much as Bunny's parents support his career, there's a time when his mother wasn't happy with the lyrics of his music. She claimed the song was vulgar.

Bunny's Little Brother Appeared in His Music Video
Bunny appears to be close with his siblings; most of the time, his brothers accompany him to different shows and events. His brother Bernie once appeared in one of his music videos, "Yo Visto Así."
Unlike Bad Bunny, who chose to pursue a music career, his youngest brother Bysael graduated from high school in 2020 and is a talented baseball player.
