In 2018, Tina also tragically lost her oldest son.
The legendary singer Tina Turner suffered a tragic loss with the death of her son, Ronald "Ronnie" Renelle Turner. The youngest of the Turner boys had reportedly last been seen outside a house in San Fernando Valley on Thursday, December 8.
The youngest of the Turner boys was struggling to breathe, and residents rushed outside and called 911. Unfortunately, by the time the paramedics made it to the scene, Ronnie had already passed away.
Over the past few years, Ronnie struggled with his health. The actor had been diagnosed with cancer a while ago, but the cause of his death remains a mystery. Ronnie is survived by two brothers, his mother, and his wife.
Ronnie's Blossoming Life before Death
Ronnie was married to the singer Afida Turner and had no kids of his own. He had a taste for acting and starred with his mother in the 1993 film, "What's Love Got To Do With It." His brother, Ike Jr., had previously said they spoke often and commented:
"I talk to Ronnie periodically – he's in great health and married to singer Afida Turner."

Ronnie passed away at the age of 62, and he still had a promising future ahead of him. He was Tina's second biological child, as Tina's other sons were adopted, with the exception of Ronnie's older brother Craig Turner.
Ronnie's Wife Paid Tribute
Ronnie's wife, Afida, was stunned by his abrupt death and posted photos of her late husband on Instagram to commemorate him. The images showed Ronnie with his wife in various settings. Afida captioned it:
"RONNIE TURNER A TRUE ANGEL HIUGE SOUL HIGHLY SPIRITUAL MY HUSBAND MY BEST FRIEND MY BABY ... REST IN PARADISE"
She went on to say at least he is with his brother, Craig, who had died by his own hand in 2018. She expressed her grief and hopeless anger at Ronnie's passing, saying she regrets she could do nothing to help him in his final moments.
