Afida Turner, the wife of Tina Turner's late son, announced the reason for his death.

On December 9, 2022, it was revealed that Tina Turner's second child, Ronnie Turner, had passed away at age 62. Ronnie was the second of Tina's four children, and the late star's wife, Afida Turner, was the one who confirmed the news.
Taking to Instagram to share several posts, the musician announced and mourned her late husband's death. The posts included several throwback images that featured Ronnie's parents, siblings, and others.
The French Singer was devastated by the loss and described the late star as her "best friend" and a real-life angel. Afida also noted how her late husband was "highly spiritual" with a "huge soul."
The songstress also shared how she'd served as Ronnie's nurse during his last days. The bass player's widow mentioned how she'd loved him for 17 years and that she was angry over the tragedy that had befallen her, adding:
"I did the best to the end this time [and] I was no[t] able to save you."
Afida noted how her husband was now with his late father, Ike Turner, brother Craig Turner, and aunt Aline. She shared how he'd gotten sick with cancer three weeks before and concluded the heartbreaking post by wishing he'd "rest in paradise."
According to one publication, the police were called to Ronnie's Los Angeles home on December 8, 2022, with reports he couldn't breathe while outside. Upon arrival at San Fernando Valley, paramedics found witnesses trying to resurrect the star with CPR.
Tina's son was pronounced dead when that didn't work, leading to his wife's postings the following day, where she lamented how his death was "so unfair." The legendary songstress had lost her biological children but had others to hold on to.

In 1958, IKe Turner Jr. was born to Ike Turner Sr. and his wife, Lorraine Taylor, but he was adopted in 1960 by Tina when she married his father. Reports said Ike Jr. was also a musician.

He debuted his band, The Love Thang, in 2017 with their single, "Freaky!" Ike Jr.'s sibling, Michael Turner, was also adopted by Tina when she married their father, and he was born in 1959.
Michael stayed out of the spotlight, and little was known about him. On August 29, 1958, Tina and Raymond Hill welcomed her first child, Craig Raymond, and he worked as a real estate agent at Beverly Hills, California's Rodeo Realty.

In 2018 he died at age 55, with his mother sharing a social media tribute to honor him. The "Proud Mary" singer described the loss as the "saddest moment" for her as a parent and shared with her fans when she said goodbye to him.
By 2022, Tina [Turner] was 83 years old and spent time with her grandchildren whenever possible.
Tina and her friends and family scattered Craigs' ashes off California's coast. His mother noted his death's tragedy but declared that he'd "always be my baby."
While some of her children have reunited, in the afterlife, she still had her step-children to live for and their children. The star, older than 80 in 2022, was enjoying life as a grandmother.

In 2019, Tina reached a massive milestone when she celebrated 80 years of life! The former vocalist shared a lovely video with her fans to mark the day; she looked healthy and happy.
The star confessed to her fans that she hadn't thought she'd be like that at 80, as she felt good, looked great, and overcame some illnesses. Tina said she felt like she was having a second chance at life and was pleased to be 80!
In her memoir "My Love Story," the former artist shared that she had a stroke in 2013 and three years later was diagnosed with intestinal cancer. At one point, things were so bad that she faced total kidney failure, but in April 2017, her husband, Erwin Bach, donated his kidney to her.
By 2022, Tina was 83 years old and spent time with her grandchildren whenever possible. The late Ronnie made her a grandmother when he welcomed two children from a previous relationship.
