Meet Sinisa Babcic, Poppy Harlow's Husband of 10 Years
Since 2015, the year Sinisa Babcic met his wife, CNN anchor Poppy Harlow, the couple have taken a photo on the steps outside his relatives' home in Slovenia for major life events.
Poppy Harlow's husband, Sinisa Babcic, is not the typical high-powered New York financial executive who leaves his children in the morning with his wife and a team of nannies. The long-time twosome are equal partners in their parenting duties.
The couple lives in a brownstone in Brooklyn, New York, where they often pose for family portraits with their two kids on the stoop. The presenter has described her perfect night out as ice-skating with her family and being in bed by eight p.m.
Sinisa Works as a Wealth Management Business Consulting Leader
Babcic, born in January 1982, was awarded a BSc in business finance from Geis College of Business at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, with a minor in investment and financial institutions. He is close to his sister, Dr. Vladana Babcic Tal, an endodontist.
He worked at RBC Wealth Management in Canada before taking the business consultant role at Thomson Reuters from 2009 to 2012 in New York City. The advisor was a senior business consultant in Temenos's private wealth management department.
The Geis alum joined Ernst & Young's New York office in October 2013 and was promoted to partner seven years later, holding the job title of EY US Wealth Management Business Consulting Leader. He focuses on wealth and asset management, innovation, and consulting.

The
has only granted 190 people access to his private Instagram account, @ish_ah, which has a snap of him and Harlow from their wedding day as the profile picture.
He is more active on LinkedIn, where he comments on industry colleagues' publications and promotes his charity work and EY job opportunities. He liked a link to quarterback Jalen Hurts' master class on emotional intelligence.
Babcic has been an Adams Street Foundation board member since April 2020. The non-profit implements programs and counseling for low-income students at the Brooklyn Urban Assembly School for Law and Justice.
Sinisa Has Been Married since 2012
The co-anchor of "CNN This Morning" with Don Lemon and Kaitlan Collins met her Eastern European husband in Minnesota on a trip to visit her parents in 2005. Babcic and Harlow married in an NYC ceremony on September 1, 2012.
While pregnant with their first child, Harlow passed out in the CNN studio during a live taping...
The newswoman marked their eighth wedding anniversary in 2020 by giving her husband credit for their incredible life with their kids. She said there is "never a dull moment" with him and thanked him for the "endless laughter."
The couple attended a Christmas function at the White House in 2022, where they snapped photos all over the famous building, and Babcic posed with President Barrack Obama's newest portrait.
Harlow wished her husband a happy fortieth birthday in Bosnian on January 8, 2022. The financial advisor got help from his son sitting on his lap to blow out his candles in the accompanied clip. The following year she posted:
"Have loved you since we were wrinkle-free, carefree, and had more free time than we knew what to do with! But it's even better now, babe."
Sinisa Is a Father of 2 with His Wife
While pregnant with their first child, Harlow passed out in the studio during a live taping on December 28, 2015. The moment was not captured on camera as she was covered by a graphic as she slurred her words, but her co-anchors could be heard reacting in the background.
The morning host confirmed that she and the baby were doing well and seeing a doctor in a tweet that same day. When back on the air, she explained that she got overheated, which caused her to pass out, and thanked viewers for their concern.
The new parents were "over the moon with excitement" when their daughter Sienna was born on April 10, 2016, without any complications.
For International Women's Day in March 2017, Harlow reflected on her daughter (a "ball of beautiful, bubbly energy") and the idea of balancing work and parenting.
She wrote that even with her new role co-anchoring opposite John Berman, which gave her more time with her kid in the afternoons, it took time to "meld" mothering and working. The podcaster noted her privilege of having a hands-on partner:
“An important note, I am incredibly lucky. Not only do I have a healthy, happy kid – but I have a pretty awesome husband who is truly an equal caregiver. This stuff falls on us equally. Props to all of you single parents out there – my hat is off to you.”
The couple named their son Luca, born in February 2018, as a nod to his father's Eastern European heritage. For his birth announcement in September 2017, the family sat on the steps outside Babcic's aunt and uncle's place in Izola, Slovenia.
Harlow quipped that 18-month-old Sienna was not keeping them busy enough, so they decided to give her a brother. They were thrilled to extend their family as parenting has given them "the greatest joy."
The pair has traveled extensively with their kids to France, Croatia, Serbia, and Slovenia. The anchor labeled their firstborn the "definition of daddy's girl on a family trip in France in 2019. Harlow had a wild night with her favorite people, her family, ice-skating in January 2020.
Babcic was seen trusting his hair in the hands of his children in a February 2021 clip his wife shared on Insta. He did not flinch as the two toddlers brushed his hair and sprayed it with product, requesting that they "make sure he looks beautiful at the end."
