Wynonna Judd has had her share of life challenges, but she seems to be reveling in being a grandmother. The singer, born to the late Naomi Judd, touched the hearts of many with a recent Instagram post, leading fans to assume she was spending quality time with her grandbaby, Kaliyah Chanel.

Wynonna Judd recently shared a life update with her followers on Instagram. In a thread of photos, including those depicting her doing photoshoots and spending time with her loved ones, the first is a picture of Wynonna with her back to the camera. With her dark red hair tied in a low ponytail and sporting an all-black outfit, she can be seen pushing a baby stroller.

The young one inside couldn't be seen, but fans immediately assumed it was her granddaughter, Kaliyah Chanel, born to Wynonna's only daughter, Grace Kelley. They flooded her comment section with touching messages, with one user referring to Kaliyah as "a baby Judd."

Another user commented, "I'm sure you're having a Blast being a Grandmother! She is Blessed to have you as a Grandmother! [purple heart emoji]." More of the musician's fans swooned over the photo of Wynonna and her grandchild, whom she said gave her hope as she and her sister, Ashley Judd, grieved their mother's passing.

Wynonna had shared the sentiment during her appearance on "Today" last October, following a lengthy reflection on her grief over how her mother died; Kaliyah was born two weeks before her great-grandmother died by suicide. Despite her anger over her mother's sudden death, Wynonna acknowledged her responsibility to do "personal healing work."

She was determined to end the cycle of familial dysfunction and addiction for the sake of Kaliyah. And despite an already warm bond with her grandbaby, Wynonna had a tumultuous relationship with her daughter. Grace was pregnant with Kaliyah while she served her sentence in prison. She had fallen pregnant while out on parole but returned to prison after a violation.

In January this year, Grace shared a photo of herself with Kaliyah on her Facebook page. She had been granted an early release last December, with conditions including community service until she found employment, cognitive behavior, and substance abuse treatment programming.

However, Grace isn't the only child of Wynonna, as the singer is a mom of two. She welcomed her son, Elijah Judd, in 1994. She once posted a birthday tribute to him in 2016 when he turned 22, referring to the now-married 28-year-old as her "beloved son."
