Mariska Hargitay's Happy Easter Post Has Fans Convinced She Has a 'Face for Wearing Hats'

Mariska Hargitay headed to the shores for Easter and took to Instagram to wish fans a happy holiday with a scenic view from the beach. The 59-year-old looked stunning in light makeup and a sweater but received much praise for her blue hat.

In a recent Instagram post, Hargitay looked casual yet chic in a blue and white tye-dye sweater she paired with a sky-blue hat that matched the scenic view of the waves behind her. Hargitay completed her look with lavender sunglasses and light makeup that included a soft pink lip. "#SpringHasSprung Happy Easter weekend and happy holiday weekend to all," she captioned the post.

"You really do have the face for wearing hats. You know that right. You also have the face for tv, but that goes without saying. Happy Easter weekend and happy spring (sic)," one fan commented, and another shared, "If you weren't an actress, you'd so work in fashion. This look," followed by a fire emoticon. A third fan typed, "Love how your outfit matches the ocean. Nothing beats the calming effects of the water. Enjoy the Easter weekend with your loves."

During a trip to Venezia, Italy, Hargitay also wowed in a white woven hat with a brown leather band she paired with bold black sunglasses. In 2015, she sported a red cap with the Switzerland flag as she and her partner attended the US Open. In December 2022, the actress celebrated Christmas with an adorable snap of her and her partner in matching red beanies.

In a previous post, the "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit" star has proved she has a passion for wearing hats, literally and metaphorically. Hargitay wears many hats as an actress, director, producer, and mother and took to Instagram to shout out to other women who wore multiple hats.

"A shout out to all of us women who wear a whole lotta hats: mothers, magic-makers, nurturers, caregivers, partners, peacemakers, bosses, change-makers, creators, friends, fighters, teachers, lovers, leaders, listeners, sisters, survivors. Hats off to all of you (sic)!" she wrote.

Hargitay is commonly known for her role as Olivia Benson on "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit" and for sharing the screen with Christopher Meloni, who plays Elliot Stabler, before his headlining role on "Law & Order: Organized Crime." However, on April 7, Mariska Hargitay treated fans to a reunion of the actors' characters after sharing behind-the-scenes pictures from the "Law and Order" set.
