Parents Dissuade Daughter from Dating Obese Man — She Leaves Home to Marry Him & Makes Him a Dad

Sienna Keera was watching a British comedy when she saw a man she was immediately attracted to. The young Australian woman became the talk of the town in 2018 when she flew across the world to meet him.

George Keywood was a plus-size British actor who starred in the comedy series "People Just Do Nothing." Australian Sienna Keera had been watching the show when she laid eyes on Keywood and knew she had to connect with him.

She Googled the actor and found her way to his Instagram page, where she sent him a direct message. Keywood replied to her message and then liked some of her Instagram photos, which Keera says made her sure he was keen on her, too.

Keera finds plus-size men attractive and admitted that even though society frowns upon people who are overweight, Keywood was her type. The pair's unusual love story evolved, and the couple has been happily in love since.

Keera's Parents Worry About Her Relationship with an Obese Man

Six months after they began communicating on Instagram, Keywood and Keera decided it was time they meet up. Keera traveled across the world to visit Keywood in the UK, and they spent the following weeks together exploring Europe.

As soon as Keera arrived in the UK, she invited Keywood to her Airbnb, where she said they stayed up all night talking and laughing while they got to know one another better. Keera knew they would have an impact on one another.

The couple then spent the next five weeks traveling Europe and falling increasingly in love with one another. Keera went back home for a short while until she made the permanent move to the UK in May 2019.

Three weeks before she moved permanently to the UK, Keera took to Instagram to announce it. She shared a carousel of their photos, gushing over how Keywood changed her life and she couldn't wait to see him.

Although Keera and Keywood had fallen madly in love with one another, Keera's family was concerned about her new love interest. She shared:

"[My family] were worried and advised me against it, but they knew I was in love and trusted I would make the right decision for myself."

Keera has no regrets about moving across the world to be with Keywood. Soon after she made the big move, the couple tied the knot and have been happily married ever since, with Keera's family's blessing.

After moving to the UK, Keera knew that Keywood was the one for her, and the pair soon started their own family. They welcomed their son, Oliver, together, and Keera has often expressed her gratitude to Keywood for their life.

In July 2019, Keera took to Instagram to share the news that she and Keywood were expecting their first baby. She shared a photo of a plush bunny and a sonogram picture to mark the happy occasion.

She said that she and her then-fiancé were excited to announce that they were expecting and that she had never been so happy. Keera wondered what their baby would be growing up, saying the possibilities of her baby's identity were endless.

In August 2019, Keera again took to Instagram to announce that she and Keywood were expecting a baby boy. She shared a photo of herself holding two pairs of blue Nike baby booties as she kissed Keywood's cheek.

On Keera's 25th birthday on December 31, 2019, she shared a photo of herself dressed in an all-black outfit leaning over and cooing over her son as Keywood held him in one arm. She revealed her son had been born on Boxing Day 2019.

Keera mentioned how happy she was that she had moved to London and started a family with Keywood, and he commented on the post saying he couldn't have thought of a better person to be the mother of his child.

In January 2020, Keera posted a photo of her son on Instagram. He was on a grey blanket surrounded by four plush bunnies, similar to the ones Keera used in her pregnancy announcement photo. Keywood commented:

Keera Struggles with People Staring at Her Family

While Keera is happy with her husband and her son, she is not often pleased with the reactions they receive when out in public together. She admitted she feels anxious and self-conscious when people stare.

Although she has become used to the stares over time, they are still difficult to deal with occasionally. However, throughout every struggle, she has remained entirely devoted to Keywood and their son.

Keera admitted that even some of her close friends told her she could do better than Keywood just because he wasn't conventionally attractive, but she knows the only thing that matters is their love for one another.

She also mentioned that any plus-size person looking for love should know they are worthy of finding love and happiness just as much as anybody else, and they should not give up because of societal pressures.

Are Keera's Parents Happy to be Grandparents?

Although Keera's family initially hesitated for her to fly across the world to be with the man she loved, they have now embraced the relationship. They are happy that their daughter is happy with her husband and son.

In January 2022, Keera shared photos of her son with his grandparents and by himself, and they all appeared happy. Keera mentioned that the family was enjoying spending time together in London.

She also shared another photo of the family gathering at an aunt's house. Keera revealed it had been her son's birthday celebration that their aunt had hosted. The family posed together with a sofa in the background.

In June 2022, Keera once again shared photos of her family with her son as they appeared to be touring around London. She mentioned it was a happy day spent with the family, who were all smiles in each photo.

She shared another photo carousel in June 2022 that showed the family at Harrod's and the surrounding areas. She said it was the best day ever, and Keywood agree they had had a great day in the comments.

Although she initially did not want her daughter to move so far away after meeting a man, Keera's mother was even in the UK to celebrate Mother's Day. Keera posted about the occasion, saying how much she loved her mom and how grateful she was for her.

Keera's family has fully embraced Keywood and is happy their daughter is happy. They often spend time with the couple and their baby doing fun things like going to carnivals and restaurants together. Keywood considers Keera's family his own.
