During the interview, Allison defended her ex while discussing his defamation case with his second wife. She even recalled her earliest memories with the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star.
Despite ending their marriage in divorce, Allison and Depp did not disrespect each other. Allison recalled seeing his second wife at a party and confessed:
"She seemed really nice, and she was gorgeous."

Allison also revealed how she felt after learning about Depp's second wife's allegations. Since she knew the "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" actor was a private person, she "felt really bad" watching him talk about his personal life in court.
Allison revealed she never did interviews or talked about her life with her ex-husband publicly because she respected his privacy.
Thus, watching Depp defend himself by discussing the most private moments of his life in front of millions of people made her break down "several times." However, she felt what he did was necessary to win the case and supported him as she did when they were a couple.
Who Is Lori Allison, the Woman Johnny Depp Married When He Was 20?
Allison was working as a make-up artist when she married Depp on December 20, 1983. She even did make-up for Depp's band after her sister introduced them.
Depp was 20 while Allison was 25 when the couple tied the knot. However, their marriage lasted only two years before they peacefully parted ways.
Depp struggled to land gigs with his band during their time together, but that didn't stop him from earning money. He worked as a telemarketer for a while, selling ballpoint pens, before his wife helped him enter the acting world.
Depp met Nicholas Cage through his first wife, which helped him get an audition for "A Nightmare on Elm Street." In his May 2004 Playboy interview, he recalled what happened next:
"I got the job. I was stupefied. They paid me all that money for a week. It was luck, an accident. I did it purely to pay the rent."

At the time, Depp was still looking for other jobs before Cage encouraged him to pursue acting as a career. As Depp took on more roles, he started liking his new profession and never looked back.
While his career went uphill, his relationship with his wife ended in divorce. After gracefully parting ways with Depp, Allison worked with prominent names like Adam Ant and Christina Applegate before her cosmetic brand, "Serendeppity," came into being.

Despite parting ways with one of the best names in Hollywood, Allison maintained a civil relationship with him. She respected his privacy and always had good words to say about him.
During her recent interview, Allison shared her views about Depp's defamation case. She said something about Heard that was later twisted by an online publication into a headline that left her fans furious.

Allison defended her ex-husband and shared her views on what happened in court. Referring to Heard, she said, "What she did was absolutely horrific," adding:
"If there were things that I could do to her that were legal, I would do them."
Unknown to Allison at the time, an online publication would pick up her statement and twist it into a defamatory headline.

In the headline that has now been taken down, the online media outlet claimed Allison said she "would do illegal things" to Heard. Upon reading this, Allison's fans didn't keep quiet. They slammed the publication for spreading false information.
Words like "disgraceful," "toilet paper," and "sickening" were used to blast the online news outlet for its misleading headline. Another netizen said:
"Mainstream media is so disingenuous. Shame. Shame. Shame."

Meanwhile, others were amazed to learn that Allison was still part of her ex's life after 40 years. "The fact that she is such a sweet, intelligent lady and regards him so highly says everything about him (and her)," one noted, adding that Allison respecting Depp's privacy was the best part of their relationship. "What a nice, kind, and likable lady."
