'Don't Take My Shirt Literally': Priah Ferguson, 16, Poses in Mini-Shirt and a Crop Top
In a recent Instagram post, "Stranger Things'" Priah Ferguson showed a little skin while out and about in Jamaica. However, it was her humorous shirt that caught the attention of fans, with some revealing that they did take it literally.
Ferguson was fresh-fashed as she posed for a full-body selfie that her rocking a dark gray mini-skirt she paired with a light blue crop top. "🇯🇲 spiced. Ps. Don't take my shirt literally," she captioned the post. However, it was her humorous top —which read "Dump him"— that caught the attention of fans.
"Not me wanting this shirt even though I'm happy with my man," one person commented, followed by the laughing emoticon. "The shirt is so real," another user wrote, while a third typed, "I just dumped him yesterday." A fourth fan shared the same sentiment: "Gorgeous! And oops, what if I did take it literally?"
Also in the comments section, Ferguson's fans noticed that she was in Jamaica at the same time as her "Stranger Things" co-star, Caleb McLaughlin. In a recent multi-picture Instagram post, McLaughlin soaked up the sun as he posed for a topless picture enjoying a swim in the clear blue water of the Caribean island as well as a breezy bike ride.
"You and Caleb both in Jamaica??" a netizen typed, followed by an emoticon of a suspicious pair of eyes. "Hmm... maybe they're filming season 5 of ST. Caleb is in Jamaica as well. Is it just a coincidence? Or is it not?" another fan shared.
Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Ferguson is commonly known for playing the charming and quick-witted Erica Sinclair on the hit Netflix series, "Stranger Things," co-starring Millie Bobby Brown and Noah Schnapp. However, the actress has had a passion for acting since she was a little girl. After her parents noticed her artistic spirit and love for dance, they introduced their daughter to performing arts.
Ferguson soon became a natural in theatre, and a year after signing with an agency, she landed a role in Donald Glover's critically acclaimed series "Atlanta." Ferguson's other acting credits include appearing on "Daytime Divas" and "Mercy Street," along with leading and supporting roles for short films and commercials.
Unfortunately, fans of "Stranger Things" will have to say goodbye to seeing Ferguson on the sci-fi series as its fifth season was announced as its last. The show is set to begin filming in June 2023, and the showrunners revealed they do not plan on adding any new characters, allowing fans to bid a final farewell to the roles they have come to love.
