On April 1, 2021, Majesty Williams, then-4, disappeared from her Smyrna, Georgia, home where she lived with her father, James Williams. The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), the police, and another agency worked together to search for the missing child.

However, two years later, the little girl hadn't been found. Trying to build awareness about the case, on March 11, 2023, the NCMEC had Majesty's story broadcast on the show "On Patrol: Live" on REELZ.

Nobody expected that the missing girl would finally be found alive and well in July 2023, thousands of miles away from her home. How Majesty disappeared all those years ago is detailed below, revealing who the main suspect in the missing case is.

How Did Majesty Go Missing?

According to the March 2023 coverage of Majesty's story, James and the little girl's mother, Andrea McCord, were going through a divorce when she went missing. However, McCord sometimes stayed with her family in Georgia to spend quality time with her daughter.

So the former couple's relationship saw them living together on and off. According to James, his estranged wife sometimes came over, took the little girl, and would leave for weeks on end without informing him before randomly showing up with Majesty again.

However, on that fateful day in 2021, Majesty's mother arrived to bond with her. James was at the front of the house mowing the lawn when McCord informed him she was taking their daughter to the store.

Thinking nothing of it, James let them leave with his car until he received a text message from McCord notifying him about the unlocked vehicle's location at a nearby grocery store. She also told him the keys to the car were left inside. That was the last time Majesty's father saw her.

Later the former couple's court divorce and child custody hearing date arrived with McCord failing to attend, leaving James to receive full custody of their child. The police then issued a felony warrant for McCord's arrest for Interstate Interference with Custody.

Authorities said the last time Majesty's mother was seen, she was driving a 2016 gray Jeep Wrangler. She was believed to be in the company of her boyfriend, Custodio Guerra, and she had links to Florida, Maryland, Texas, North and South Carolina, which meant the little girl could've been anywhere.

Majesty's father also extended his gratitude to the three agencies who worked together to bring his baby girl home safely.

The NCMEC revealed how "heartbroken" James was as he and his daughter were "very close." A clip showed the father-daughter pair enjoying a lesson about colors and numbers, with the NCMEC noting how "smart, outgoing," and a "joy to be around" the little girl is.

James missed his daughter and did what he could to return her home. Luckily, the search efforts eventually paid off when Majesty was six when she was found alive and reunited with her father.

Where Was Majesty Found?

On July 17, 2023, the NCMEC uploaded a Facebook post revealing that Majesty was found! The little girl was found two days before the post was uploaded after being abducted by her 34-year-old mother two years ago.

The NCMEC, the Smyrna Police Department, and the US Marshals Service worked to crack the case in unison. The little girl was found with McCord and Guerra in their San Luis Potosi, Mexico, home where they lived with Majesty.

The couple was arrested for Interstate Interference with Child Custody and extradited to the US, where they will have their day in court. A day after his daughter was found, James was reunited with her in Atlanta, Georgia's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, and said:

"I am incredibly grateful and overjoyed to be reunited with my daughter."
