'Totally Disrespectful and Appalling Behavior': Cardi B Fans Defend Her after Fan Threw a Drink on Her
Cardi B fans backed the rapper for her speedy response to a concertgoer's unprompted attack during an outdoor performance of her first hit in Las Vegas.
"Why are people throwing things at performers?! Totally disrespectful and appalling behavior," a supporter commented on a tabloid's report of the incident on social media.
In a video taken by an audience member, Cardi B is furious when somebody in the front row tosses a drink in her face during a rendition of "Bodak Yellow." She throws her microphone in the perpetrator's direction, but it is unclear if they were hit.
"Standing with Cardi on this one," a comment with over 2 000 likes read. "I woulda done the same! People need to stop throwing stuff on stage!" an Instagram user wrote. The hitmaker's security escorted the offender out of the concert with Cardi B shouting at them.
At the beginning of July, Harry Styles looked visibly in pain.
"Good," a music lover agreed. "People think they can get away with anything these days. Someone needs to put them in their place." Over the summer, Harry Styles, Kelsea Ballerini, and Drake were some touring artists whose shows were disrupted by unruly fans.

A Growing List of Performers Pelted with Objects by an Audience
One of the most extreme examples of the escalating trend was when a concertgoer flung a cell phone at Bebe Rexha's head. The "I'm Good (Blue)" star posted a selfie of her stitches and black eye a few days later, confirming that she's "good."
A 27-year-old man was arrested at the venue and charged with multiple counts of second and third-degree assault. He reportedly told officials that he thought it would be "funny" if he could hit her with his device at the end of the June show.

At the beginning of July, Harry Styles looked visibly in pain when he was hit directly in the eye by a small unidentified object at a gig in Vienna, Austria. The former One Directioner has become a popular target, having had to dodge a flower bouquet in Cardiff, Wales, last month.
He has also had to dodge Skittles and a tampon but avoided being hit by chicken nuggets. During her Las Vegas residency Adele addressed the lack of concert "etiquette," warning the audience that she would not allow such behavior at her show.
