Pregnant Wife Finds Out about Husband’s Cheating — He Asks Her to Abort Their Baby
One night, a woman received a call from a stranger saying her husband of eight years had been cheating on her with another woman. Shocked, the woman confronted her husband and spent the rest of the night crying alone.
The woman in today's story had her first baby after struggling with infertility and experiencing miscarriages. She conceived her son about five years after her wedding and was excited to welcome him into her life.
However, her husband started to act strangely, and she didn't think much about it at first. Eventually, she made a Reddit post, sharing that her husband had promised not to accept too many overnight shifts at work but didn't keep his word. Instead, his overnight shifts increased while she was pregnant.

The woman recalled that her husband would often leave the house early in the morning whenever they visited her parents' house. She and her parents found it unusual, but no one suspected anything that would have made them question his character.
After giving birth to her baby boy, the new mother's relationship with her husband started going downhill. The woman revealed that she experienced post-partum depression, which affected her behavior and overall mood. In spite of being supportive, her husband blamed their relationship issues on his wife's struggle with her mental health.

The husband threatened to divorce her, saying their relationship would have been better if the woman wasn't depressed. Fearing that her postpartum depression would spoil their relationship, the woman promised to "fix" herself, unaware of what the man was doing behind her back.
How Was the Husband's Infidelity Revealed?
In April 2022, about a year after her son's birth, the woman received a call from an unknown man on social media. He claimed his wife had been cheating on him for over a year and identified her husband as the other man.

"I asked my husband if this was true, and he proceeded to just stare at me blankly, then said, 'The marriage is over. Sell the house," the woman recalled. Learning about her husband's infidelity helped her understand why he behaved oddly while she was pregnant. She recalled crying the entire night after learning that her husband was interested in another "younger, much skinnier" woman.
The following day, the woman called her father and asked him to pick her up. She left her house with her baby and told her parents about her husband's affair, which angered them so much that they banned him from their house.
Soon after moving in with her parents, the woman learned she was pregnant with a second baby. The husband refused to take responsibility when she told him about the child and asked her to abort it. She explained:
"He wanted me to abort the baby because 'he can't afford child support for two kids.'"

Going against her husband's wishes, the woman gave birth to her baby and cared for him singlehandedly. Since she knew her husband was planning to start a new life with the other woman, she filed for divorce and submitted documents to be the sole custodian of her two children. She also hoped to get 65% of their house, since she had bought the property with all of her savings.
A week after her husband received the divorce papers, the woman learned he wanted 50% custody of their children and 50% of the house. He added that he couldn't pay the child support because it was too much money. He feels that paying $1,255 a month for two kids is too much money and 'he has a life to live too,'" the woman revealed, adding:
"Oh, and here's the kicker; he's not sure if the second baby is his, so he's seeking a paternity test. What a joke."
What Did Her Husband Want One Month Later?
About a month after sharing her story on Reddit, the woman wrote another post to share that her husband had called her during the night. She expected him to discuss their sons, but what he really called for caught the woman entirely off-guard.

He told her that he wanted to get back together and be a father to their two children. Taken aback, the woman stood her ground, refusing to let him back into her life. She reminded him of what he had done and pointed out that he was never an involved parent while they were together. She stated:
"You threatened to quit your job to avoid paying child support which is for THE KIDS. You didn't meet our 5-month-old son until last month. You only see our 2-year-old once every six weeks for one hour."
During their conversation, the mother-of-two reminded him that he was still dating another woman, to which the man replied he wasn't with her anymore. Suddenly, the woman realized why he wanted to get back together. He felt lonely and had no family besides her, so he considered the woman and her children his "backup."

"We're worth more than that," the woman wrote in her Reddit post. Toward the end of their conversation, the woman told him it was too late for him to return and said she would meet him in their next court hearing.
