On what was supposed to be a fun-filled family affair, Jeremy Renner found himself being airlifted to a local hospital after suffering an accident on the first day of 2023. Renner was in critical but stable condition after a snowplow accident on his Nevada property.

Like the true superhero that he is, it turned out Renner was just as much a hero in real life. Months later, sources revealed the snowplow crushed him after he tried to stop the tractor from slipping and hitting his nephew.

Renner broke his ribs, an eye socket, a knee, and a shoulder in the process of saving his nephew. It took him months of therapy to try and live life normally again.

"I have been exploring EVERY type of therapy since Jan 14th," the actor recently wrote on Instagram. From physical therapy to IV drips and peptide injections to stem cells and more, he's done "countless hours" of therapy to try and recover fully from his unexpected accident.

The "Avengers" star ultimately feels blessed to be able to continue living life. Not only is he grateful for his second chance at life, but he's equally grateful for being able to stand upright and walk again.

His near-death experience made Renner see life differently. He now cherishes each day a whole lot more and acknowledges that his time is more valuable.

Of all the forms of therapy he's undergone, the one with the most significant effect has been his mind. He believes it's his determination to live that makes him able to recover fully:

"My greatest therapy has been my mind and the will to be here and push to recover and be better…. Be exceptional… I feel it’s my duty to do so. Not to squander my life being spared."

Renner feels obliged to give back to his family, friends, and fans, who have encouraged him to endure all the challenges. With his cheerful disposition, fans are bound to see him back in action sooner rather than later.
