'GMA' Anchor Robin Roberts Shares Glimpse of Her 2nd Honeymoon after Marrying Longtime Partner Amber Laign

Robin Roberts, who recently tied the knot with her long-time partner Amber Laign, celebrated a second honeymoon surrounded by nature. She shared glimpses of their sweet vacation on Instagram.

After recently tying the knot, "Good Morning America" anchor Robin Roberts and her long-time lover Amber Laign took time out to enjoy a second honeymoon away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Roberts shared pictures of their time on Instagram, gaining several likes and comments from fans and followers alike. In her post, Roberts snapped a photo with her wife relaxing by the pool while looking at a majestic view.

"Honeymoon #2," she wrote. "Not sad that it's over, we're happy that it happened." Robin looked relaxed in a royal blue racerback top, while Laign had her hair down while sporting a cap.

A few days ago, Roberts shared a glimpse of their honeymoon view. In a short clip, she captured a monkey swinging from tree to tree in its natural habitat. "The adventure continues with honeymoon #2," she said.

Roberts and Laign's story began in 2005 when they first met through mutual friends. However, no romance ensued at that time. Supposedly, they were to meet for a blind date but canceled on each other several times.

Finally, they enjoyed each other's company when they met for drinks at the Hudson Hotel. After more conversations, they learned they had similar interests, such as their love for disco. Not long after, they became a couple.

As time passed, Roberts and Laign became each other's source of comfort and happiness. They have been together through several ups and downs but only discussed marriage in 2014.

However, it wasn't until the pandemic that their conversation about tying the knot became serious. The couple got engaged in December 2022 and tied the knot on September 8, 2023, in their Connecticut home, surrounded by their closest 31 family and friends.

Not long after the ceremony, they enjoyed a beautiful honeymoon in Curaçao, basking in the Caribbean sun and enjoying nature at its finest. Roberts also shared a glimpse of their sweet escape on Instagram before returning to her post on "Good Morning America."

Although committed to each other, Robin Roberts is also committed to her career. After long days at work, she goes home to her gorgeous New York City penthouse worth $2.5 million. The anchor stays here five days a week, apart from her wife. On weekends, she retreats home to Laign in their Connecticut residence.
