Victoria Beckham Shares a 'Weird' Photo of Her Son Cruz, Sparking Buzz Online

The former Spice Girl's sun-soaked family getaway took an unexpected turn online after one snapshot of her son drew more attention than the rest of her photo set.

On August 10, 2025, Victoria Beckham posted a carousel of Instagram photos from a European yacht trip with her husband, David Beckham, and their children, Cruz, Romeo, and Harper Beckham. Yet, one image of Cruz, seemingly wearing underwear, sparked a flurry of comments from netizens.

While most of Victoria's images showed heartwarming family moments, such as the soccer star hugging his daughter, many of her followers and Instagrammers stopped at picture number six.

The shot showed the 20-year-old standing on the yacht with his legs apart and his hands on his waist in a superhero-like pose, wearing only a white bathing suit that resembled tighty-whities.

The comment section of the post quickly lit up with remarks ranging from baffled and curious to critical. One person asked, "What was pic #6 all about?! 😬" and another said, "What??? Pic no.6 got me confused."

Someone else admitted, "Isnt only me stuck at picture n6 [sic]." Others responded with humor, including a person who wrote, "I saw, you saw, we all saw [sic]." One commenter quipped, "Anyone lost a sock?" while another joked, "I feel like I need to go report myself to the cops after picture 6. 👀😎"

However, many netizens also questioned why Victoria would choose to upload such a picture. One person asked, "Is that your son in pic 6?? Seems creepy of a mom to post such a pic😬Sorry." Another remarked, "So weird- you're his mom🧐 [sic]."

One more commented, "Why would you show ya son like that its abit weird [sic]." Someone else wondered, "Why would like put up a photo like that [sic]."

However, the former Spice Girl isn't the only one who has uploaded such photos. On July 31, Cruz posted a shot of himself on the yacht sofa with his legs spread wide, and his hands braced against the rails, wearing the same bathing suit. The caption read, "Spreadin em [sic]."

Additionally, he uploaded heartwarming family moments with his mother and father in a post from August 11, which also featured a shot of a red-tinted moon on the horizon. Meanwhile, David Beckham added a vacation picture of himself and Cruz in a restaurant where both can be seen smiling and having fun.

"How times have changed , it used to be me putting the Bib on you 😆 @cruzbeckham looks like it's my turn to not spill my food @victoriabeckham 😂 [sic]," the soccer legend added in the caption.

Although she doesn't appear in Victoria's post, Cruz's girlfriend, Jackie Apostel, was also on their family trip. She uploaded a selfie kissing her boyfriend on August 9.

Furthermore, the young couple has seemingly been spending much of the summer together, sharing multiple photos, including some from Jackie's father's birthday in late July, where Cruz can be seen in a dark blue shirt and nice white slacks.

That more formal look contrasted sharply with his daring bathing suit, which wasn't the first moment from the Beckhams' vacation to spark buzz online. As previously reported, Romeo and Harper were spotted in Saint-Tropez, France, on July 25.

Romeo, 22, was seen wearing a red baseball cap, a round-neck white sweater, and pink knee-length shorts. He paired the outfit with white socks and black shoes.

Meanwhile, Harper Beckham, 14, wore a white hoodie with the word "Seven" printed across the front. She completed her outfit with matching shorts and beige sandals.

A video featuring them went viral on social media. It shows Romeo Beckham and Harper accompanied by a woman who appeared to be attempting to block or redirect attention from nearby individuals, possibly paparazzi or bystanders, to shield the pair.

Public reactions to the footage were immediate and varied on Instagram. One commenter wrote, "Good God woman go away! No one would have noticed had you not made a show of yourself and them, Romeo looks mortified and Harper thinks it's hilarious [sic]."

"She looked uncomfortable. At 14 years old [sic] it should be against the law to photograph her against her wishes," a separate commenter stated.

One person defended the woman, saying she was likely trying to shield Harper from unwanted attention. They pointed out that Harper, being only 14, did not choose to be in the spotlight.

According to the commenter, the paparazzi were already present, and the woman's actions were meant to highlight the issue of photographing a young girl who appeared visibly uncomfortable.
