MadMuscles
What is Adaptive Fitness
MadMuscles believes that one-size-fits-all workout routines are outdated, as they claim to suit everyone, yet rarely meet specific needs. The modern approach should take individual aspects into account. That’s why, beyond offering diverse workout routines, MadMuscles set out on a mission to create a program for every body.
Adaptive fitness is the core of this mission. It focuses on creating safe workout routines for individuals with disabilities, like impaired limb function or spinal cord injuries, helping them return to an active lifestyle after completing the initial rehabilitation process.

Who Can Use MadMuscles Adaptive Program
The main idea of the MadMuscles adaptive program is to provide workouts for every body. To achieve this, the program is divided into six distinct categories:
Combined impairment – one or both lower limbs + one upper limb.
Both arms – double amputation or equivalent impairment.
Both legs – spinal cord injury, double amputation, or equivalent impairment.
One arm – amputation or functional impairment.
One leg – amputation or functional impairment.
Preserved functionality – all limbs are partially or fully functional, and physical activity is possible.
Each category features unique workout routines tailored to the needs of its users and provides access to inspirational stories of veterans from the Ihry Neskorenykh community in Ukraine (the Invictus Games community in Ukraine) and adaptive sports influencers.

Collaboration with Invictus Games: Guided by Experience, Built for You
To create a truly safe and effective adaptive training program, MadMuscles looked for insights from those who have personally experienced regaining an active lifestyle after severe injuries. That’s why the team drew on the expertise of the Invictus Games community in Ukraine, an organization dedicated to helping veterans return to an active lifestyle through adaptive sports.
Only those with similar experiences can determine the most effective training approach for veterans and individuals with disabilities, ensuring the program truly meets their needs. The Invictus Games community in Ukraine knows the difficulties of the rehabilitation and recovery journey better than anyone else.
As a result of this collaboration, professional coaches, who work with veterans, created a program that meets the needs of each of the six categories. Veterans also contributed by participating in video workouts and sharing their personal stories for motivational content.

From Movement to Mindset: MadMuscles Training Approach
MadMuscles understands that effective workouts should be structured and balanced. Therefore, each of the six categories features unique sets of exercises, designed by experienced coaches to provide a well-rounded approach to improving strength, mobility, and flexibility. Each workout includes a warm-up to prepare the body for the exercises and a cool-down to support recovery. Moreover, the exercises don’t require any special equipment and can be done anytime and anywhere, making training flexible even for busy daily routines.
However, MadMuscles wanted to go even further and address the component that is often overlooked by other fitness apps — motivation. Anyone who has tried to maintain a consistent fitness routine knows its importance. The psychological aspect is even more crucial for individuals with disabilities, as they may face additional mental pressure. These barriers can significantly affect the ability to achieve fitness goals, often more than most people realize.
To support users in overcoming these challenges, MadMuscles created a series of inspirational stories from the members of the Ihry Neskorenykh community in Ukraine (the Invictus community in Ukraine) and adaptive sports influencers. These stories are shared by people who faced similar difficulties and overcame them, getting stronger both physically and mentally. They recount their personal journeys into fitness, explaining how and why they continue to train. By sharing these experiences, MadMuscles aims to motivate users, help them feel supported, and show that they are not alone on their path to recovery and improved fitness.
