Oprah shows her makeup-free face and she still looks brilliant. Here's photo proof

While most celebrities would choose not to show themselves without makeup, some others are confident enough to do it.

That’s the case of Oprah Winfrey, who took to Instagram in 2014 to show her natural beauty. She posted two videos before that year’s ceremony of the Screen Actors Guild Awards.

As reported by Closer Weekly, in the first video she was wearing a loose yellow dress and was wondering which gown she should choose for the red carpet event. Her face was free of makeup and she was wearing black glasses.

She wrote in the caption that she was getting ready for the SAG Awards and that she was calling in her ‘glam squad’ who appeared in the next video she posted.

The second one showed her sitting on a chair while two men, her glam squad, were taking care of her hair and her makeup simultaneously. Winfrey pointed out that, at the moment the video was recorded, they were two hours away from the event.

Later, she asked Derick Rutledge, her makeup artist, how they were doing and he replied that they were ‘coming along.’ Rutledge, who also worked for the former First Lady Michelle Obama, shared some tips with his fans.

For him, there are three products that people should rely on for achieving their best look: a base foundation, a contour shade (a shade or two darker than the base), and a highlighter.

Speaking about Obama and Winfrey, he admitted that they both have the busiest schedule ever and that he even taught Obama how to do her makeup herself in case he couldn’t be where she was.

He confessed that Winfrey was a good teacher and a giving person whose best characteristic was her generosity. According to him, she has achieved all the success thanks to her generosity.

At the moment, Winfrey is in the spotlight as she revealed that she would run for presidency in 2020 against Donald Trump only if God sends her a sign.
