Academy of Country Music announced list of performers for this year that will make you happy

Big names are included in the set of performers for the most-awaited Country Music Awards this 2018.

With the awards show just being around the corner, country music enthusiasts are hyped to find out this year’s winners, as well as the performers who will take the stage.

ACM is in its 53rd year and is set to be held on April 15, 2018.

Country Rebel shared that the nominees have been recently announced and Reba McEntire will be coming back to be the host one again after refraining from doing the job for a few years.

On March 7, 2018, ACM announced the first batch of performers who will be singing during the prestigious ceremony.

Eight names of country musicians have been revealed through a press release by ACM.

The eight artists are also nominees in various categories.

The artists included in the first batch of performers are Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett, Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Florida Georgia Line, and Maren Morris.

Also, pop sensation Bebe Rexha will be welcomed on the stage for her first ever ACM Awards appearance. She will be performing with Florida Georgia Line for their collaborative song, the record-breaking, Meant to Be.

More performers for the event will be announced in the coming days.

Nominees for the Single Record category include Midland for Drinkin’ Problem, Sam Hunt for Body Like a Back Road, Blake Shelton for I’ll Name the Dogs, Chris Stapleton for Broken Halos, and Little Big Town, Capitol Records Nashville, and Jay Joyce for Better Man.

Aldean and Bryan are included in the list of nominees for Entertainer, along with Garth Brooks, Keith Urban, and Stapleton.
