'American Idol' contestant slams Katy Perry for her 'uncomfortable' behavior during show
His first kiss with the pop star was far from a teenage dream.
As reported by People, Katy Perry greeted the 19-year-old American Idol contestant, Benjamin Glaze, with a kiss on the lips after he admitted he'd never been kissed.
Glaze, a cashier from Enid, Oklahoma, said he really wishes she hadn't.
According to People, he told The New York Times in a new interview that he was a bit uncomfortable.
He added that he wanted to save his first kiss for his first relationship and that he wanted it to be special.
“Would I have done it if she said, ‘Would you kiss me?’ No, I would have said no. I know a lot of guys would be like, ‘Heck yeah!’"

He pointed out that he was raised in a conservative family and it's one of the reasons why he felt uncomfortable when the Dark Horse singer kissed him.
The unwanted smooch happened after Glaze entered the audition room and judge Luke Bryan asked him: “Have you kissed a girl and liked it?” Bryan referenced Perry’s song I Kissed a Girl during that time.
Glaze replied he hadn't, adding that he has never been in a relationship and that he can't kiss a girl without being in a relationship
Perry summoned him closer and offered up her cheek. Then, Glaze gave her a kiss on the face before she immediately planted one on his lips.
People reported that Glaze told the Times he doesn't feel he was sexually harassed by the pop star.
He said he appreciated the added screen time because his audition didn't advance him to the next round of the competition.
Glaze said that he's glad Perry did it because it’s a great chance for him to get his music out.
