As reported in an article published by E Online, daughter of Beyonce and Jay-Z, Blue Ivy Carter, bid $19,000 for a painting of Sidney Poitier at an art auction on Saturday.

Despite being only six years old, Ivy did not flinch when she had to outbid her opponents. Although her parents joined her at the auction, Ivy's confidence at the art auction did not go unnoticed.

The famous trio of Ivy, Beyonce, and Jay-Z, were spotted at the 2018 Wearable Gala held in Los Angeles on Saturday. The event was organized by Beyonce's mother, Tina Knowles, and her husband Richard Lawson.

The event was held in order to raise funds for a charitable art and performance complex.

The light-hearted moment hit the funny bone of the audience and many users on social media as it went viral in no time. However, Ivy lost the bid to Tyler Perry who won the art piece for $20,000.

The Carter family did not go empty-handed from the event. As reported by Vanity Fair, Ivy bid on a 36" x 36" piece of art that was made from a damaged law and medical books. She bid $10,000 on the piece and won.

Beyonce too made a winning bid for a set of Lorraine Schwartz panther earrings worth $17,000.
