'Never going back to that doctor again.' The most awkward gynecologist visit ever

This was probably the most awkward gynecologist visit.

Shared reported the story of a woman who was due for an appointment with the doctor.

She had a doctor’s appointment later in the week. However, one morning she received a call from the doctor’s office.

She was told that her appointment had been rescheduled for that morning at 9.30 am.

The woman had just packed everyone off to work and school and it was already around 8:45 am.

She had 45 minutes to make it to his office of which 35 minutes would be spent commuting. She knew she did not have any time to spare.

She likes to take a little extra effort over hygiene especially when making such visits. But the lack of time meant she would not be able to make the full effort.

She rushed upstairs, threw off her pajamas, took the washcloth that was right next to the sink.

She wet the washcloth and gave herself a quick wash in the area just to make sure she was at least presentable to the doctor.

She then threw the washcloth in the clothes basket, wore the same clothes, jumped into the car and raced to the appointment.

She was called in only after a few minutes in the waiting room. If one is aware of the procedure, one knows that one has to hop up on the table.

She did the same. She hopped up on the table, looked over at the other side of the room and pretended she did not exist in the hospital.

She was taken aback by the doctor’s comment when he said, “My, we have made an extra effort this morning, haven’t we?” She chose not to respond.

The end of the appointment brought a sigh of relief to her as she rushed home. She spent the rest of the day as any other. There was some shopping to do, some cleaning, and cooking.

When her six-year-old daughter came home and was playing, she called out from the bathroom, asking her mother where her washcloth was.

The woman asked her daughter to get another one from the cupboard. The little girl replied that she needed the particular one by the sink, which had all the glitter and sparkles saved inside it.

That is when the realization hit her and she decided that she was never going back to that doctor again.
