Flender admitted, "I'm so happy and so proud." Turner noted that some actors consider starring in "Law & Order" as a rite of passage, which the actor’s mother agreed with, saying, "It means you have arrived."

Chalamet's mother also revealed when she first realized he would become an actor. She recalled talent shows at LaGuardia, a high school for the arts, where her son performed as "Little Timmy Tim."

Chalamet even had backup dancers for the shows. His mother remembered how they drove to Target to buy sweatpants for the group, and she dyed them purple in her bathtub. It was at that moment she realized, "Okay, this is the start of something big."

Flender also shared that her son could have chosen two paths—acting or soccer—since he was passionate about both. Chalamet was so skilled at soccer that he played on a traveling team.

During the interview, her son wandered over and overheard his mother mentioning his "Little Timmy Tim" character. Humorously correcting her story, he revealed that he dyed the sweatpants himself, insisting it was his solo project.
