Matt Lauer reportedly looks 'like he's aged 10 years' after the firing scandal

Things are not looking good for him after his career debacle.

As reported in an article published by Closer Weekly, neighbors of the disgraced TV anchor, Matt Lauer, revealed that he did not look himself after his sexual misconduct scandal broke out in November 2017.

The 60-year-old has been residing in his Long Island Estate after he was fired by NBC and the Today show following credible sexual misconduct allegations.

In Touch Weekly reported that an employee at the local store near Lauer's residence revealed that he looked very sad. The employee recalled that Lauer was a very chatty person just like he was on the Today show.

Another resident of the Hamptons revealed that Lauer did not look like he looked on TV. He added that Lauer had lost a lot of weight and looked 10 years older than his age.

Another neighbor of the former NBC host shared that Lauer was living alone since his wife of 19 years, Annette Roque, was absent from the locality. He added that he used to see Lauer and Roque together but now often saw him by himself.

Few days after Lauer's firing, Roque had left him. She called Lauer to tell him that she had filed for a divorce. According to an anonymous source, Lauer did not get a chance to plead Roque to stop.

Another tipper revealed that Roque was leading a fresh life outside of the United States. She had disowned her wedding ring and started to live a completely new life in Europe.

Reports of Lauer's future have started to make rounds in the media. According to In Touch Weekly, Lauer wanted to expose other prominent names in the media who were as famous as him and behaved as indecently as he did in the workplace.

An insider to the publication tipped that Lauer is set to write a memoir that would help him bring down the biggest names in the industry.
