Woman beaten with baseball bats during road rage incident

Two sisters followed a woman and beat her with baseball bats after she cut them off on the highway.

26-year-old Mikaela Barboza was assaulted with baseball bats in a parking lot moments after she cut off a woman while driving on US Route 441 in Florida.

According to American Web Media, the sister of the woman whom Barboza cut off on the highway had been in another vehicle, and the two of them teamed up to beat her.

She was scared for her life so made an escape to a nearby parking lot but was followed by the two sisters and was blocked into the spot.

A video clip shot by Barboza herself revealed the two sisters approaching her with baseball bats. Barboza is first head screaming at the women that she isn't afraid of them. But then the two women begin clubbing her with the bat.

Just before they start beating her, Barboza is spotted telling them that she has her baby in the vehicle, but the two sisters do not care about her appeal.

“We were kind of wrestling and the other sister with the other bat came over and started beating me over the head,” the online source quoted Barboza explaining about the incident.

It was further reported that Barboza had another passenger in her car who managed to capture the entire incident on the camera. The assault left Barboza with a broken nose and seven staples and stitches in her head.

She later took to social media to post the video of her assault and captioned the post: 'This was because I cut them off. Then they made it about race after they beat me with two bats.'

She further explained that she was not a racist and anybody who knew her could that she 'doesn't have a racist bone in my body.'

The source also informed that all of the sad incidents, people can hear Barboza's child screaming and crying from the car.
