'This is Us' star Chrissy Metz splits from her partner
The 37-year-old actress and singer, Chrissy Metz, is most famously known for her portrayal of Kate Pearson in the drama series, This Is Us.
Metz and her partner, Josh Stancil, met on the set of the award-winning show, where Stancil worked as a camera grip. He has since "moved onto another show."
As reported by E-Online, Metz revealed the news on March 30, 2018, when she appeared as a guest on The Wendy Williams Show. Williams wanted to know if the duo was still together.
Metz replied that she is currently dating herself but explained that she and Stancil parted on good terms and that they are "still friends."
Metz added that she prefers to remain friends with her former partners because those connections are still important to her, and one doesn't stop caring for someone.
She explained that she simply could not just "dump them off" when a relationship ends. Metz is still friends with her ex-husband too.
The My Name Is Earl actress tied the knot with British journalist Martyn Eaden on January 5, 2008, in a beachside ceremony in Santa Barbara, California.
