'Sister Wives' catfishing scandal is allegedly only getting worse

The reality star is caught in a scandal.

In Touch Weekly reported that Meri Brown fears humiliation as the catfishing scandal comes back to haunt her once again.

Just when she thought she has put everything behind her, she finds herself in the middle of a storm. Meri Brown’s catfisher, Jackie Overton, has come back to haunt her with even more ammunition.

The woman had tricked the reality star into falling in love with whom she thought was Sam Cooper. Overton now claimed that she has “racy photos and videos of Meri.”

According to Life & Style, she has decided to release them to the public soon.

The incident dates back to 2015 when Brown began an online relationship with a man, but it was Overton who had disguised herself as Cooper.

Sister Wives star had previously said that there would always be something that interrupted her attempts to meet Sam Cooper.

She said, “There was some excuse why he couldn’t, but she showed up. I was not comfortable around her. I just got the creeps from her.”

Brown added that she would force herself to be nice to Overton because she was a friend of Cooper. She also claimed that the woman had warned her not to mess with him or hurt him, and if she did, Overton would ruin her life.

Now, three years later, she again feels threated and does not want to be humiliated.

Overton was lashing out at Brown after she called the impersonator “a crazy person” on an episode of the popular TLC show on March 18.

Fans will remember that it is not the first time the catfisher has released intimate details of their fake relationship. She had previously posted private photos, text messages, and voicemails on her blog.

On a 2016 episode of Sister Wives, Brown had said that the impersonator was just planting things in her head, telling her how horrible her family was, especially Kody Brown.

She confessed that that was one of the reasons she did not want him around as she was angry.

It is to be seen how she reacts when the photos are eventually released.
