Melania Trump’s mom warmly greats Donald Trump during a rare public outing for Easter
An appearance this rare from the President's mother in law is bound to create a stir in the media circle.
As reported in an article published by Inquisitr, First Lady Melania Trump's mother, Amilija Knavs was spotted with President Trump with arms intertwined with each other during the Annual White House Easter Egg Roll.
According to the description in an image taken by photographer Carolyn Kaster, Melania’s mother greeted President Donald Trump as her son-in-law walked through the crowd at the festive event.
The image showed Amalija’s left arm tangled with President Trump’s left arm. The pair seemed to be passing each other. The photo also captured Amilija holding a mobile phone in her right hand that sported a shiny ring.
Photos of Melania’s father, Viktor Knav, weren't easily available, however, other pictures of Viktor have suggested that Viktor prefers to avoid wearing a ring, similar to President Trump.
74-year-old Viktor has not been photographed as recently as Melania’s mother, at least not in any traceable newer photos.
But photos captured by the Associated Press show Viktor boarding Air Force One on Tuesday, November 21, 2017, for a visit to Mar-a-Largo for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Whereas 72-year-old Amalija was photographed on Sunday, April 1, when she was getting out of Air Force One. She was coming back from an Easter weekend spent at Mar-a-Lago.
Viktor and Amilija recently became part of a controversy when an article by the Washington Post questioned the immigration status of the First Lady's parents.
In that article, the publication focused on searching for the citizenship status of Melania’s parents, enquiring if the couple benefitted from a similar supposed “chain migration” that President Trump derides.
In spite of attempting to get to the crux of the issue, the Trump campaign hasn't verified the means used by Melania’s parents that enabled them to live lawfully within the U.S.
Viktor was referred to as “a former member of the Yugoslav Communist Party who worked as a chauffeur for the mayor of his town, Sevnica.”
