Scott Baio and his wife make a public appearance after her disease revelation
The celebrity couple takes a break from their illness woes to celebrate their friend's special day.
Scott Baio and wife Renee Sloan-Baio attended the celebration of former Baywatch star Donna D'Errico's 50th birthday party at Catch restaurant in West Hollywood.
According to Radar Online, the star couple was spotted out together for the first time following the announcement of Renee's brain disease.
Recently, Baio has been amid sexual harassment allegations that have been making big headlines, the source suggested.
So when the couple walked together for the party and were photographed outside by the paparazzi, they both looked thrilled to be taking a break from sickness and scandal to celebrate a friend's special day.
As D'Errico turned 50, the couple accompanied her and made her day even more special with their presence at the Catch restaurant. During the time, Baio also took time to chat with some of the reporters.
The star announced earlier in March that Renee has been diagnosed with chronic microvascular brain disease. He took to Twitter to share the sad news about his wife's sickness.
Responding to the widespread headlines, the star wrote in his tweet, 'Unfortunately, this is true. Renee is forever my rock, my life & my soulmate! Toughest person I know.'
The couple has shared a healthy relationship ever since they first met each other at the Playboy Mansion. They tied the wedding knot in 2007 and have two beautiful daughters - 28-year-old Kalyn, who is Baio's stepdaughter, and 10-year-old Bailey.
Besides the pain of Renee's sickness, Baio has also been dealing with sexual molestation allegations raised against him by former co-star Nicole Eggert. The actress claimed that Baio molested her when she was only 14 years of age.
She further alleged that the star had abused her on the set of Charles in Charge, and it had happened repeatedly each week until she reached the age of 16.
