Blake Shelton allegedly claims he's happy in the role of step-dad after joke on Stefani's pregnancy

No doubt Blake Shelton makes a great stepdad for Gwen’s three children, but AmoMama found out that the country star would not mind having his own. As Hollywood Life reports, it’s all up to Gwen but Blake is on board with any decision.

Blake Shelton, 41, has gushed time and again over Gwen Stefani’s kids. He has repeatedly said that he not only fell in love with the Used to Love You songstress but also her three kids. However, he reportedly would not mind having his own biological children, but he is leaving that decision to Stefani.

A Hollywood Life source close to Blake said that the country musician was totally in love with his stepkids.

“Blake has fallen in love with Gwen’s kids and has a complete blast with them. He, of course, would love to be a father of his own but he is also a little scared about doing it as well. He is currently content with being a stepdad and is happy in that role. If Gwen wants to get pregnant again though, Blake would be the first person to hop on board! After all, he’s been open about how much he enjoys “fatherhood. The only thing that would make things different is if Gwen wanted to try having a baby with him, then Blake would be completely on board."

The source went on to say that Blake would not pressure Gwen into having a baby with him and if it happened, he hoped it would be a boy. The ultimate decision, the source said, is Gwen’s.

On Easter Sunday, Stefani, Blake, and the three kids; 11-year-old Kingston, 9-year-old Zuma, and 4-year-old Apollo were seen leaving a church looking like one happy family. Blake even carried Apollo to the car and it was all so sweet. He said in an interview last month that he thought the chance to be a father figure had passed him, and then it happened and made him realize how much he had missed. “Having them around is, I don’t even know how to describe it. It’s so much fun.”
