Channing Tatum was seen still wearing his wedding ring after revealing Jenna Dewan split
The Hollywood power dance couple shockingly announced their separation on Tuesday but it seems like Channing Tatum is still not that accepting of it yet.
The Magic Mike star was spotted wearing his wedding band as he shopped with their only child, daughter Everly. In a report from Daily Mail, the two were seen leaving Target in Studio City, California.
He carried his four-year-old on his shoulders and held a plastic Target bag on his left wrist while leaving the discount retailer. He also had Everly’s gold backpack thrown over his back on their way to the car.
The Step Up star’s third finger on his left hand clearly still had his wedding band. Why didn’t he remove it yet despite the couple’s split?
Several reports have come out about the couple’s breakup. On Wednesday, People alleged that Channing had turned down roles so he could have a happier personal life. The source said:
“He was actually turning down jobs to spend more time with family.”
Channing has not made any film since making Logan Lucky in October 2016. He only had four films released in 2016 and 2017 combined.
It was also claimed on Tuesday that Channing and Jenna actually separated because they “fell out of love” after nine years of marriage. An insider reportedly disclosed that their split was because of their careers.
A source revealed to New York Post’s Page Six column that Jenna thought her husband did not work as hard as he should have on their relationship and she was also apparently “troubled” by the Magic Mike star’s success.
“She is troubled by his success. He was turning down jobs because of her, and they were fighting a lot.”
The split was said to be predicted as they have “fallen out of love.” The source also said:
“Jenna always said they had to put work into their marriage to keep it alive, and while Channing is a great dad to their daughter, [Jenna] felt like he stopped wanting to work as hard on them as a married couple.”
The couple’s representatives have been contacted by MailOnline for comments.
