Many people praised the young mother for being honest about how pregnancy had affected her body. But she also faced hurtful comments.

In the social media post, Ching recalled her fourth pregnancy. She remembered how friends around her said her perfect physique would be 'ruined’ as a result.

Ching wrote, 'The first thing I did after leaving the delivery room was to look at my stomach and cry.' In the post, she also stated that no amount of surgery or money would be able to fix her stomach.

'Only 21 at the time, I wondered how I would be able to accept my stomach looking like this for the rest of my life.'

She tagged her husband, Toh Yang Ming, in the post and jokingly demanded that he give her back her stomach. Her photo was captioned in Mandarin.

It generated incredible support from Chinese speakers in Malaysia, Singapore, and Taiwan. Both women and men called her 'brave' and 'beautiful' for sharing the image.

But many more also told her that she looked ugly and disgusting. Others went as far as saying that her stomach made them want to vomit.

In a follow-up post, Ching revealed that some men said it was the women's fault for wanting to have so many children. She asked people to respect women such as one's mother and wife who give birth and still work.

The mother-of-four asked the men if they could do that. Ching went ahead and shared an old picture of herself in a bikini before she gave birth to her fourth child.

She added that her stomach didn’t matter as she could still wear a bikini at home. Ching shared that she could only be as perfect as she could be.
