Power couple Jay-Z and Beyoncé want to turn their newly acquired $88 million mansion into a fortress.

Power couples like Jay-Z and Beyoncé and their beautiful children can be a target for miscreants and the rich couple has decided to beef up the security at their new mansion in Bel Air to protect their family.

It was said they want to turn their newly acquired expensive home into some sort of impenetrable fortress to secure themselves and their kids.

The couple plans on adding new quarters for guards with high-tech systems to ensure that they’re protected all round the clock. Also, they intend to include a ten vehicle carport and a two cars garage to house all their luxury cars.

In the plans submitted to the building company, the music mogul couple want the garage to be a two-story structure in front of the mansion while the carport would face the rear of the property.

Work on their mansion is said to start immediately as the couple is set to tour together this summer. Bey and Jay are set to head out on the road for the On The Run II Tour which would kick off in Europe on June 6.

The couple purchased the expensive building in 2017 and it was the highest sale of that year in Los Angeles County.

The large mansion sits on two acres of land located up in the hills and features four outdoor swimming pools, a spa, and a wellness center. There’s also a media room, multiple outdoor entertaining areas, a full-sized basketball court and staff quarters present in the gated property.

It’s not understood why the couple decided to spontaneously beef up the security at their new home as no news of danger has been heard against the couple and their kids.

This comes after actress Tiffany Hadish disclosed that the singer was bitten in the face at a club by a known actress. That could be the reason for the urgent increase in security consciousness for the iconic couple.
